angst chapter - tw in advance
15 of July 1969, Amane Yugi was found dead, and so was his twin brother Tsukasa, Tsukasa's killer is assumed to be his own twin brother.
"he's dead... MOM, HE'S DEAD!" you screamed to your mother as you saw the news and ran to your mother's arms as you sobbed uncontrollably, your only friend, Tsukasa is dead.
flashback to months ago
"hey hey, Y/N!" Tsukasa would yell from across the hallway calling your name, you immediately turned around smiling as the smaller male ran towards you giving you a hug, you received the hug and giggled "hi Tsukasa!, how are you!" you asked letting go of him, he giggled and answered, "I'm great!" you laughed again "I'm glad! ready for class?" you asked and started walking inside, he shook his head and pouted "aw c'mon let's go!" you said and grabbed his hand.

as you sobbed in your mom's arms your doorbell rang and as instinct, you would look up expecting to be Tsukasa, you immediately ran to the door your mom yelling your name but you ignored it and immediately opened the door, it was the police, your face changed into one with fear as you backed away, and falling butt-first "may we come in?" they asked as they looked at your mom arrive, she let them in and helped you stand up and walked them to the living room, the police proceeded to ask questions about Tsukasa, you answered truthfully and honestly, as they asked the questions all those happy memories you had with Tsukasa flooded into your head making you start crying, you didn't want to talk about the male, you missed him, he was your only best friend, your mom saw this behavior and asked the police kindly stopped and left the house, they understood and left, your mom held you and let you cry in her chest as she calmed you down "it's okay dear, I know you miss him, I understand, i know how you feel" she said trying to comfort you, you started sobbing and slowly started falling asleep in your mothers arms
"rest in peace, Tsukasa Yugi"
