"Are you his friend or his consult?" "It was my idea, Kitana. It's in your best interest." Jade explained. "Succeed with Sheeva, and Kotal will pledge his loyalty to you. There's no bond more sacred to an Osh-Tekk like him."

Jade and Kotal were riding there horses, they had a conversation while they were on their journey. "There are fresh tracks leading into the Hive. If Shao Kahn's in there, he'll be difficult to find. The tunnels are endless." "Set fire to them. If he's hidden, he will be smoked out." "Kotal, we don't know who else is in there." The ground shook and it made everyone feel it.

Spiders then came out and one of them grabbed Jade "No!" Kotal said, and made it to the ground. The Revenant version of Jade appeared and walked up towards her. "Hold her!" She then hitted the spider instead of Jade, and she standed back up. "By the Gods, it's true? This is what I become?!" "Blame your loyalty to Kitana. It led directly to our death." The other Jade said. "Then so be it. I would not trade Kitana's friendship for anything." "It is pitiful you chose servitude."

"When called for higher purpose, we must serve." Jade said. "Ack-Na! Kok-tek-hah!" Kotal said, then the two made it to the ground. "You will bleed for your betrayal, D'Vorah." "This One acts only for the Hive's survival." She said. They battled and then D'Vorah put acid on him, Jade came in and stopped her.

"You'd best flee, D'Vorah. Kotal is mine." She said.

The warriors and both Jade and Kotal Kahn are at the top of the hill, looking at where Shao Kahn was at. "Ghosts of my past. D'Vorah spoke the truth." "We are out numbered." "Give me a few of your best soldiers. We'll infiltrate the camp and search for Shao Kahn unseen." Jade said. "What you propose is dangerous." "Of course it is." Jade and the other Osh-Tekk were all sneaking around the place to find and tried not to get caught.

Then they ran into a Tarkatan and it backed away feeling scared, she then bumped into the wall and a horn was heard. "Run!" Jade said. The people at the top were looking at the bottom and Kotal said "With me!" The others were running, trying to get away as fast as possible. Kollector was surrounding Jade, and she said "All these years and still you exploit others to rise above your station."

"I have risen to my station Jade." Kollector said, then Kotal came in and attacked all of the Tarkatans, which was a bit bloody, or should I say messy... "Before Shao Kahn raised me up, Outworlders despised the Naknada." "Now they fear us. Tell me that is not progress!" Kollector said.

"Fear and respect are not equals." Jade said, Kotal tied up the Tarkatans and began to give them their execution. "Kotal, this is cruel! Many didn't fight us. There are children." Jade said, stopping the execution. "You forget, in my time they joined Mileena in rebellion against me." "These aren't the same Tarkatans, Kotal. A better Kahn would offer them a warm hand, not cold steel."

"Your heart has hardened, Kotal." Jade said to Kotal. Raiden went to the Elder Gods, and realized that they are gone. The place was messy, and it was not the same as before. "It is too late." Raiden said. "Blame yourself for the Elder Gods' deaths, Raiden." A voice said, and it happened to be Cetrion, the younger sister of Shinnok.

"Your actions have irrevocably altered Kronika's golden balance of light and dark. Shinnok's decapitation was the cap stone." "You are a paragon of virtue. You should wish evil vanquished!" Raiden said. "I abide my mother's will." "You were begotten by Kronika." "As was my brother, Shinnok. The darkness to my light. Nature demands equilibrium. Balance is perfection." "Kotal Kahn is captured, Raiden. The combined might of Outworld and the Netherrealm will keep your forces at bay -- while my mother finishes her work." "Do not underestimate Earthrealm's warriors."
