Break a Leg ( MHA Momojirou theater AU)

Chapter 3

        Jirou, Kaminari, Sero, Shinsou, and Mina left the auditorium together. "You guys all have rides home, right?" Shinsou asked as they walked down the hall towards the side door. "Yep," Mina said, followed by Jirou and Sero saying "yeah" in unison. Kaminari sighed, "no, my parents told me they'd pick me up after work though." "Tell them not to bother, I got you," Jirou said. "Really? Thanks Jirou, you're the best!" Kaminari said and took out his phone to text his parents. "Dude, you live like five houses down the street from me, it's no big deal," Jirou said.

        Behind them, they heard someone yell, "Hey guys, wait up!" They all stopped and turned to see Kirishima waving and running towards them, followed more slowly by Bakugou. "Huh, look at that," Sero said, "Bakugou didn't get himself arrested." "I can hear you, moron!" Bakugou yelled. When both of them had caught up, Mina hesitantly asked Bakugou, "so...... You good?"

        He sighed, "obviously not. I'd really hoped I'd never have to talk to or see him again. Whatever, it's sh*tty, I'll survive." "Taylor's gonna get a kick out of this," Kirishima said. Taylor, or Doctor Taylor, was Bakugou's therapist. Bakugou laughed, "yeah, that'll probably be the only good thing to come out of this, getting to see the look on his face when I tell him."

        The group walked outside to the parking lot. Kirishima and Bakugou left together, and Sero, Mina, and Shinso all went their separate ways."

        "So where'd you park?" Kaminari asked Jirou. "Front," Jirou said, turning and walking towards the main entrance to the school. "Dude," Kaminari said, "If you knew we had stage crew today why the hell would you park in the front?" "I forgot, okay?" Jirou said, "quit complaining, it's not like it's a far walk." They turned the corner and she froze.

        "Sh*t." "What?" Kaminari asked, then saw where she was looking, "Ohhhhhhh." Sitting on one of the benches between them and the parking lot was none other than Momo Yaoyurozu. Beside her were Mineta and Monoma, which didn't help the situation. Jirou went back around the corner and pulled Kaminari with her.

        "I can't," Jirou said, once they were out of sight. "Can't what? Walk by the pretty girl?" Kaminari asked, "because she's in between us and your car." Jirou poked her head around the corner. It was hard to see much from the booth, so this was the first time really got to see her. She had shiny black hair up in a ponytail and wore a red shirt with a floral pattern and jeans (not cuffed, unfortunately). It looked like she was helping Mineta and Monoma with homework. She turned and put her back against the brick wall. "Yep," she said, "can't walk by the pretty girl."

        "Oh my God," Kaminari said, rolling his eyes, "you'll thank me for this later." "Wait, wha-" Jirou started, but was cut off as Kaminari pulled her around the corner and yelled, "Hey!" He waved at them and pulled Jirou along with him as he walked over.

        "Oh, hello," Momo said, looking up from the notebook she'd been reading from. "Hi! You're Yaoyurozu, right?" Kaminari said, stopping in front of the group and flashing her a bright smile. "I saw your audition, you were amazing." "Thank you!" she said, smiling warmly at him, "I didn't see you there. Did you audition?" "No, no. I'm in crew. I do lights up in the booth. I'm Denki Kaminari by the way," he said, winking at her. He elbowed Jirou. She shot him a glare, then smiled nervously at Momo, "and I'm Kyouka Jirou, I'm also in stage crew. I do sounds. Your audition was amazing."

        Jirou felt like her face was on fire. She prayed it wasn't bright red. Momo was so pretty! Like oh my god, so pretty. Jirou was dying, she felt like she was gonna throw up. Kaminari was dead after this. Sero will have to get in line, I'm gonna kill Denki as soon as we leave, she thought to herself. Meanwhile, she was still in the middle of a conversation.
