- This dress looks fire on you - Zoe smirked.
- Why thank you, miss, you don't look so bad yourself - I smirked back.
- I don't look too bad myself?! - Zoe poked my heart, acting all hurt - and what's that suppose to mean?
I rolled my eyes.
- Zoe, you look amazing, and I was only kidding.
- I know, I know - she sighed, clearly happy with my correction.
We walked from the parking lot talking about my break up with Sam, while I was why was trying to change Zoe's mind about going to Sam's apartment to "beat his ass". Then we just talked about our outfits well complementing each other. And really - Zoe's dress looked stunning. She was wearing a short blue Bardot dress Bedford that fit her curves nicely. And she had dark blue heels to match the dress. A pair of drop long earrings and a necklace to match each other. She put her hair up in an elegant bun, but let some pieces of her hair down on her face. She truly looked amazing.
In to be honest I was kind of jealous of her, or rather of her looks. She is a beautiful, hot, attractive best friend that would get any guy she wanted. But, there she was - not interested in anyone. Although, it's not like finding love or whatever is really important, it's just that she's really lucky and she doesn't care. Still, it's not good to be jealous over someone's luck, so I guess I'll just stick with what I've got. And who knows, maybe someone will find me as a good match. After all, I'm not the worst looking person. Expecially right now - with my short, black, longed- sleeve, naked back, dress. And unfortunately, black heels.
Unfortunately, because I hate wearing heels, they make my feet hurt at the end of the day, not to mention the constant thinking about my posture and the way my legs move. Its pretty important to me, because I don't want to sprain my ankle or anything worse than that. Basically - it's a lot of effort.
- Heyyy, earth to Elena - Zoe swayed her hand in front of my face. - We're here.
- Oh, sorry - I said, as I looked up at the brightly shining neon club sign. Well, I guess it's show time.
We entered the club without any difficulties, such as not matching the ID photo or looking under age. Though, Zoe and Me don't really look under age, but definitely not like old ladies either.
- Oh my GOD! - Zoe squeaked like a little mouse - finally we are here.
- Yup, and I cannot WAIT to get my ass drunk tonight - I said with a bit of relief in my voice.
- Same here, although both know that we are here to get you a guy - Zoe smiled.
I looked at her weirdly. Well this part wasn't said to me before.
- Ugh, okayyy, I don't think that you said anything about this information before. Only about the fact that I need to get my mind off of things. Unless, that's what you meant.
- Jackpot! And yeah, you are right about me not mentioning anything about the guy part, but don't worry, it's going to be fun.
Right, now I really need a drink in my hand, and maybe a comfortable bed to rest, because I did not sign up for this.
- And maybe not only for a new love interest, but for a... Hook... Up?
Okay, NOW I have to leave.
- Sorry... WHAT.
- Oh, come oonnn! It's not like you have to do it, I was only kidding - Zoe said as she put her hands around my shoulders.
- Ok, but why would anyone go to the club to find a love interest? Why go to the club to dance awkwardly until some stranger bumps into you amd makes you start a conversation that makes you feel even more awkward?Besides, aren't there apps and other stuff for that?
- Yes, but isn't fun to try and experience? And what if you get lucky? - she smiled.
She isn't completely wrong... But finding love... Its not easy. And it doesn't work like that, unless its a miracle from above.
- Fine, but don't expect me to talk with everysingle man you find attractive, okay?
- I won't, I promise - she giggled.
Zoe ordered us drinks and soon enough - we were dancing like crazy.
- I lOveee this song! - Zoe yelled over the music, while swaying side to side.
- Haha, me tOo! - I yelled back, laughing.
- Heyyy, I have to go to the bathroom, can you come with me? - she tugged on my dress.
- Is that even a question!? - I yelled and took her hand.
We finally got to the bathroom, with all of that pushing and apologising to people.
- Elena, can you order something to sober me up a bit?
- Sure, you go to the bathroom, and I'll take care if the drinks.
I was walking through the crowd, while trying not to get touched by tje grinding bodies and people making out. I was almost at the bar when-
- Hey, beautiful - a voice said from behind me.
I turned around to find a blonde, brown-eyed guy standing in front of me.
- Would you care for a dance? - he said as he reached out his hand and grabbed me by my waist.
- Uh, sorry, but I have to-
- Oh, come ON, don't be like that. Just dance with me and have some fun.
He pulled me closer and now I REALLY smelled the alcohol.
- Sorry, but I am not interested, so can you just please let me go-
- Hey, don't be so tense, relax babe- he said and pulled my face in for a kiss.
- I s-said let go... Let GO OF ME! - I screamed and pushed him away from me with ghe little strength I had left.
He yanked back a bit and then looked at me
- You BITCH - he roared at me
Oh shit, not FUCKING again.
He clenched his hand into a fist and swayed it right at my face.
- I'll show you that no one says no to me-
- Hey. - suddenly another voice said.- I suggest that you step away from the lady. NOW.
I looked up to see a very tall man, with black hair and what looked like light green eyes, but I wasn't too sure of that, because the lights in the club were changing colours, which only made me dizzier.
- What the hell man, do you have a death wish?! - the blonde- haired guy yelled.
- No, but it looks like you do - he said calmly.
- What? - the guy asked.
The tall guy looked down at him and said.
- Do you like to beat women?
What kind of a question is that.
- W-what are you taking about, man - the guy asked a bit confused and clearly uncomfortable.
- Because men that like to beat women are little bitches... So what I'm trying to ask is... Is it true?... Are you a little bitch?
Wow, is all I can think of right now.
- What the fuck did you just call me-
the guy yelled, but was interrupted by a fist to his face. He fell to the ground and looked like he was really knocked out cold.
- Are you okay? - he asked me.
- Uh, yeah, I just uh, need to go outside for some fresh air - I said as I slowly turned around to walk out of the club.
- Ok, I'll come with you, just in case. - he said in a deep voice.
JUST IN CASE. Ok, well that doesn't sound safe at all.
- You don't have to though - I said as I stepped outside.
- I know, but you just look out of it, and I wouldn't want you to get in the wrong hands if you pass out.
Ok, knight in the shining armour.
- Listen, really I-im, I'm f-fine - I mumbled as the world started to spin and I found myself struggling to stand on my feet.
- Yeah, of course you are - the tall guy said and lifted me up in his arms.
- Mmhhh, you're really warm- I quietly whispered - why are you helping me?I don't even know you... -
I finished and felt my eyes closing as they got really heavy.
- Haa - he sighed softly - I don't know, you just seem like a very interesting person. Don't worry, I will protect you Elena.
