Alone. Lonely.
2 different words and yet I feel both. I've been in my room night, and day, scrounging up the courage to just go to the bathroom.
My arms feel heavy.
My head feels heavy.
And I feel the desperate need for attention. Yet I want to be alone.

It's been monthes since the battle of Hogwarts and I still can't get over it. The deaths replay in my mind. The destruction. The loss of my 3 favorite- and only friends.

It's all gone.

I'm gone.

————————————

I awoke again to my father storming into my room. We were alein to each other.

I've forgotten how he smiled.

He stood by the door, with his arms crossed dressed in a tuxedo. He always wore something up due.
"You need to get up. Your a disgrace to this family. No other family's children acted like this. What is wrong with you? Can't you stop being selfish."

I stayed silent. I was a terrible selfish person.

"Answer me!" He screamed walking closer to me as I pushed my body to the backboard bracing myself.
"I'm sorry. I will get dressed."

He scoffed grabbing my cheeks roughly with his hands.

"Your sorry? Your sorry. Sorry doesn't help a single thing. We are one of the laughing stocks against the wizarding family's. Us. You. You are to blame. God I hate you. I've never loved you a single day of my life."

A tear rolled down my cheek. Not from his words which I chose to ignore many years ago, but his grip that continuously got harder.

"I-I'm sorry father." I managed to shake out.

He slapped me.

"You don't deserve to call me father as you are no daughter to me."
He said turning his back from me and walking towards the door. He stood at the door frame and turned around towards me one last time.

"Oh and get ready, we're leaving for the Malfoys Ball in an hour.Cover up your face- wouldn't need people assuming shit. You get what you deserve."

Then he left.

I let silent tears leave my face. I opened my mouth in an etempt to breath normal. My face burned. I sucked in my breath sharply.

Stop crying.
Please. Please.

Your ok. Just breath
Just breath.

"O-on-ee.."
I let a shaky breath out.

"T-woo.."
"Thr-ee.."
"Fou-rr.."
"Five."

Your ok. Your ok.
Good job.

I shakily sighed again and wiped my cheeks. Stinging erupted from my right side. I slowly lifted myself off the bed and walked to my bathroom. There it was a a large bruise forming on my right cheek.
I sniffled, letting out a deep breath.
I smiled to myself in the mirror trying to look pretty.
There was no use.
————————————-

I walked into my closet pulling out a dress. It was long and feathered below the waist. It had embroidery and beads starting from the top. I pulled it on securing it so it didn't fall.

And then I saw it.

I looked pretty.
