i stood in my dad's hotel room. my arms folded over my chest. i look over at the mirror hanging on the wall beside the door. my hair was waving and long middle of my back long. i had brown hair with red streaks in it. i close my eyes and sigh.
"Dad, i don't want to go back." i put my arms down and look at him. he was sitting on the couch looking at me. "I'm not going back and you can't make me." i walk to the door to open it just as my dad spoke up.
"we aren't going back to LA. we are going somewhere else where you can't... do this street racing crap." i chuckle and shake my head.
"Your kidding right? I'm not 17 anymore. I'm 21, i'm an adult." dad stands up and looks at me. he was upset at me.
"you stay here and you will end up in jail, Ellie. i want to protect you from that."
"you can't protect me for the rest of my life. if i end up in jail then that's where i'll be." i walk out the door and to my car. before i could start it i see about 10 cops around the car. i was trapped, no way out. i took a deep breath and got out the car. my dad walked out the hotel and up to me.
"we are leaving now and your leaving the car here." i laugh.
"I'll go with you but ONLY if i take the car other wise just take me to jail now." i wasn't leaving the car. it was Logan's and when i see Logan again then he'll be able to have it back. my dad's phone goes off and he answers. he doesn't say much besides okay then hangs up.
"fine you can keep the car. let's just go." it was weird that he wanted to leave so soon. i frown and look at him but went anyway. i told him i would, so i will.
we drove for a few days. finally making it to Texas. i followed my dad's car to a house in the middle of nowhere. i drive through the driveway and park beside my dad. there were trees around the house and bushes blocking the view of the road. i get out the car and look around. the house was a 2 story house. the color was white and there was a garage in front of the cars. i looked at my dad. he looked upset when walked to the house. we went inside and i shut the door. in front of me were the stairs to upstairs. to the right looked to be the living room. ahead behind the stairs looked to be the dinning room with glass double doors to the back yard. to my right was a small room. an office maybe. the door was closed. i could see the kitchen so it had to be between the dinning room and the living room.
"let me show you you're room." my dad spoke softly and headed up stairs. i followed him. there was 4 doors down the hall. when going up we took the corner to the left and down the hall.
"why so many rooms?" i asked not looking at him. i felt his eyes on me.
"the first door is my room. the second door is the bathroom. the third door is the guest room and this one." dad stopped at the last door on the left. "this one is yours." he opened the door and i walked past him. "Ellie..." before he could say anymore i shut the door in his face. i didn't want to be here. i wanted to go back to New York. i wanted to wait for Logan to find me. how would he ever know i was here? i take a deep breath and look around the room. it was large with a walk in closet. the bed was a king size. by the window was a seat but it was a window seal at the same time. there wasn't much in here. a dresser, a desk for working at and the bed. there was a blanket and sheets on the bed. the seat at the window had a soft cushion. with a small blanket and pillow. i take a deep breath and lay down on the bed and slowly fall asleep.
