The Beautiful and the Damned [High school of the Dead]

Prologue

The gang had been driving for a few hours now making stops to different locations to get supplies to in preparation to set up somewhere new, Shizuka who had been driving for a while whilst the other's rested in the military Humvee after the events that occurred. Rei, Saeko and Saya all rested in the back whilst Kohta kept on lookout. Takashi was sat in-between the group of girls who were all sleeping, that meant Takashi got the worst of it, Rei and Saeko were once again resting on his lap whilst Saya rested against the window.

Takashi was stuck in deep thought about where the group should go next which thinking about this for a few hours had given Takashi plenty of time to think about their next moves carefully alongside discussing the idea's the odd idea with Kohta and Shizuka. That being said Takashi knew what they should all do next before considering anything else.

"Miss Shizuka?" Takashi asked whilst staring at her waiting for an answer. Shizuka looked in the mirror for a second to see Takashi staring at her.

"What is it Takashi?" She questioned with a curious tone. More than anything she was trying to focus on the roads. The atmosphere between Shizuka and Takashi was awkward as the pair didn't know what to say to each other.

"We've been driving for a few hours now; I think we should head to each of our houses to pick up some of our stuff considering we haven't even done that yet." Takashi explained what he had in mind. Shizuka couldn't help think it was a bad idea to do so.

"But Takashi what if our homes are over run? You've seen it out there. There's no telling what could happen if we were to go to our homes." Shizuka explained her point of view but Takashi shrugged it off before answering.

"We either go into the local mall and get supplies that way with little chance of potentially making it out or we go to our own homes which could have supplies like clothes and anything else you want to bring." Takashi finished explaining. Shizuka knew Takashi had a point and decided to nod in agreement with Takashi.

"I suppose your right... I would like to get a few items from my home anyway which I have been considering asking to get so I'm not too sure why I am disagreeing..."

"Yes, any clothes and any sort of other supplies whether it be food or weapons would be greatly needed by now."

"I definitely agree, I have a few items I want to get from my own home." Kohta interrupted their conversation to agree with the choice. Takashi and Shizuka nodded in satisfaction.

"I want to go to my house at one-point Takashi as I have some important things that I want to bring with me." Shizuka said before turning around the Humvee to go back in the direction of Shizuka's own apartment.

(I guess we are going back there then...) 

Takashi thought of the place they were going to. It was none other than the place when he saw Saeko in a skimpy swim suit and an apron. Takashi's mind wondered to Rei at the time who had been very 'different' at that time, same could be said with Shizuka at the that time as she was very drunk.

"Uhhh...What's going on?" Saya said drearily whilst taking in her surroundings. Takashi noticed that she had woken up mere seconds ago because of the tiredness that begged to be released from her face.

"Saya your up... You can go back to sleep if you want, we aren't anywhere that we want to be yet." Takashi explained to a sleepy Saya. Instead Saya rubbed the tiredness out of her eye before fully waking up.
