A/N: Sorry for taking a while to upload this chapter lol

I've been trying to find things to do on the side of writing as I don't want to put all my time and effort into one thing and one thing alone. I haven't figured it out yet but its a work in progress. Been playing a few games recently and working on a few things like you would expect. + Other stories but I'm sure you do not want to hear that lol.

I have a few questions to ask you guys. One is unrelated to this story and is more of a general one whereas the other one is about the story of course.

Question 1: In general what do you guys work on? Projects, etc. (I'm looking for something new to learn/do.)

Question 2: Let's say I 'planned' for the girls to have kids in this fic sometime in the future... Would you (the readers) like to see something like that?

Back then I never would have imagined that the world would have come to an end so abruptly.

Looking back on it I was a fool to think it was going to get better.

The vivid memories of protecting my little sister while our parents argued and argued over the years had left me always being on my toes.

I never trusted much...Because of that, I was a fool.

Or was I?

Regardless I lost a lot of people in my life and ever since I have been trying and trying to strive forward.

Just when it appeared to be getting better I was pulled back into the dark ocean that had been keeping me locked away for many years.

This feeling...

This is what it felt like back then...

Drowning in a sea full of memories I had long locked away over the last few years.

Perhaps I was a fool to think you can run away from such memories and put them behind you.

After all, TIME comes back for everyone.

"UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

The sound of a small female child crying on my shoulder as our parents argued loudly in the background. Hatred boiled inside of her heart as she used her left hand to push my little sister ever so closer to my chest as she cried on. Crystal wrapped her arm around her little sister's small body and stroked her hair lovingly as she watched the commotion from the living room as their parents continued.

The eleven-year-old girl looked down at her younger sister with a small smile that told Stella 'Everything was going to be alright', although, in reality, Crystal knew that her words were hollow. She only thought like that to protect her sister and assure her.

Crystal wondered when her parents would quiet down. It was getting later on in the day and she knew she and her sister had school to attend to tomorrow. She knew it would be bad if she arrived at school with barely any sleep...

"What happened to you?! It's like you have changed over the last two years!"

The cry of anger that was laced in their mother was apparent. Although Crystal was still young, due to these arguments she had been able to pick up on things most would never be able to do.

"People change goddammit! So have you and everyone else around here! When I change a little bit suddenly I'm the bad guy!"

The masculine voice of her father that was also laced with anger became apparent. She can imagine his face turning red like his face usually did when he was mad.
