Chapter 10

𝐉𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐎𝐕

It was lunch time and I was sitting at our lunch table with Seungmin and Kai.

"So we all have dates to the dance?" Kai asked.

"Well mine isn't a date it's just a friend coming with me to the dance since my OTHER friends got dates." I said, sounding a little annoyed.

"Hey you could've made it a date if you wanted to." Seungmin said.

"Nah I don't like Yuna like that. She's kinda like a sister." I said.

"Ok, suit yourself, but can we all meet up at I.N's house since we'll pick them all up at Wonyoung's house?" Kai asked.

"Sure you guys can come to my house." I said.

After a while lunch was over and we went back to class.

I went home to get ready for the dance. I just wore a plain white button up shirt with a t-shirt underneath and some black pants. The doorbell rang and I figured it was Seungmin and Kai. I got up from the couch and got the door.

"Hey guys! You can come in." I greeted them.

Both of them were dressed as well. Seungmin was wearing a black buttoned up shirt and black pants while Kai was wearing a blue buttoned up shirt and light washed jeans.

"You guys wanna play some video games while waiting because like we have a few more hours." I asked them.

"Sure!" they said in unison.

All of us walked to my house together right after school and decided to get some boba and snacks before getting ready.

Once we got to my house we started eating and chatting.

"So Yuna can you pwease be in charge of hair and makeup this year?" Yujin said trying to sound the cutest and look the cutest she could.

"Yah! what was wrong with my hair and makeup for you guys last year?" I asked.

"Well, you kinda took forever and kept on redoing everything so..." Yujin said. She has a point.

"Oh yeah I remember Yujin almost punched you while you were doing her makeup, but yeah I'll do it this year." Yuna said.

"Alright now that we're done eating we should probably start getting ready." I said.

"Okay, why don't we change into our dresses for then do make up then hair?" Yuna said.

"Yes ma'am." Yujin and I said (A/N: again annyeongz things)

We all came out in robes over our dresses so that we don't get anything on them. Yuna started doing Yujin's make up while I waited by finding inspiration for my makeup and hair and playing games. Once she was done with Yujin's make up, she started my makeup when a question popped into my head.

"Hey guys what should I do if Kai gets the wrong idea of me going to the dance with him?" I asked.

"Umm... well just try to be honest with him." Yujin said.

"Yeah just tell him the truth because it's better than him finding out from someone else." Yuna added.

"Alright, I'll try." I said.

After finishing my makeup, Yuna started on both Yujin and I's hair (A/N: multi-tasking very hard, trust me I know)

Once she was done with both of us, Yuna started on her own makeup, which was pretty simple compared to Yujin and I, and we did her hair.

Once we were all done our parents came and took photos of us girls before the boys came. I was wearing a dark red mini dress with puffed sleeves and a bow and black heels. Yujin was wearing a black mini dress with a pearl collar and pearl buttons and black heels. Yuna was wearing a white suit mini dress and black heels.

After a while the doorbell rang and it was the boys. We all greeted each other when I realized, Kai's outfit and my outfit are total opposites. I mentally slapped myself forgetting to coordinate with him, but it's too late now.

"Hello? Wonyoung?" I snapped out of my thoughts and saw Kai standing in front of me.

"Oh sorry it's just our outfits are... total opposites." I said.

"Oh um it's fine, but we're taking pictures now." he said pointing to everyone else.

Yujin and Seungmin were taking pictures and their outfits were perfectly in sync.

It was Kai and I's turn and it was very awkward. I think it was only Yujin, Yuna, and I who found it awkward, but the parents don't really need to know.

It was Yuna and I.N's turn before we took group photos and they looked like young and rich ceos. Their photos weren't really a couple like, but rather like the "yeah we're rich siblings" vibe. (A/N: Toy Story Sandwich? *I'm sorry but that's what I was inspired by for Yuna and Jeongins look)

When we arrived a lot of people were already there. We went to our seats and got some snacks before dancing.

"Hey you wanna dance?" Kai asked.

"Sure." I said.

Yujin and Seungmin were already dancing, but Yuna and I.N stayed back.

Kai and Wonyoung went to dance and I felt a little bit of pain in my chest. I vowed to myself that I got over her, but I just can't.

"Hey you okay?" Yuna asked.

"Yeah I'm fine..." I said.

"You can stop lying and finally admit to me that you like her." she said.

"W-what I don't like Wonyoung what do you mean?" I said.

"I never brought up Wonyoung, but just a tip, don't sit back and watch her get with some other dude." she said.

"B-but I don't l-like Wonyoung!" I said.

"Your stuttering says otherwise. Wanna dance?" she said.

"*sigh* Sure." I said.

We danced for a while until slow songs came on cause like me and Yuna aren't like that.

A/N: Jeongin and Yuna will only be shipped as friends/siblings in this story so yeah just wanted to let you guys know.
