Kuroo's Story

~~~Kuroo's POV~~~

I remember when I first met Y/N. I won't ever forget it. I was just walking with Kenma, on our usual route, him playing video games, me watching him. I had wondered if I was bisexual, for Kenma activated something in my heart, but I passed her.

Y/N.

It was at this moment.

That I knew.

I ducked up-(this is a meme but idk the name)

Ahem.

I was straight.

I knew she was the one. It was like the world had slowed down, just so I could admire her.

"Um. You go ahead, Kenma." I had said. I remember Kenma looked up. A true surprise.

"Hey there." I waved at Y/N.

"Hi." She kept her head down.

"Are you new here?"

"Mm." she simply said.

"What's your name?"

Her head snapped up, made eye contact with me. Her eyes were a deep E/C. They drifted to my messy bedhead. Subconsciously, I patted it down. Did she not like it?

"Y/N."

"Ah. I'm Kuroo."

"I like your hair." she said, and she waved and ran off.

"She likes...my hair."

I used to hate my hair. It would never settle down, so I stopped bothering. I would still ruffle my hands through my hair, trying to flatten it out.

But she said she liked it. So now I like it. I wear my bedhead with pride.

The next day, I met her in class. She sat in front of me, so I tapped her on the shoulder.

"Morning." I said.

"Hey, Kuroo." she smiled.

After that, we became more friendly, joking with each other. Though I poked fun at her all the time, saying "I love you!" seemingly jokingly.

But it wasn't a joke.

It was a confession, but Kuroo-style. The way that kept her unknowing.

Me, Kenma, and Y/N became really good friends. It also helped that Y/N and I were in the same homeroom.

One day, Y/N called me to come over to her house. She said it was an emergency.

"BOOM! WHAT?(6x3 meme)" I said, opening the door.

"Kuroo! Thank goodness!" Y/N cried. She grabbed me by the arm and dragged me inside. "Okay. So I need the cherry. In Animal Crossing, y'know? I know you have it, but I really didn't want to bother you, but I've spent over fifty-thousand Nook Miles and I can't find it. So can you help out a fellow Animal Crossing player?" she looked at me with puppy-dog eyes.

Crap! I can't resist that face! It's so adorable!

So, of course, I gave her a couple cherries.

"Thank you SO MUCH, Kuroo. You're a lifesaver. Well, an orchard-saver, because now I have all of the kinds of fruits! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!" she said, over and over and over.

"It was nothing." I grinned. But I didn't expect her to wrap me in a hug. Her hands were cold, but it was nothing of concern at that moment. I flushed so red, I must have looked like the cherries I gave her. I didn't pull away, savouring the moment. But she didn't pull away either. We stood there for a good 15 seconds, when she unhugged me and I stumbled back, muttering a "Thanks, bye now."

I was totally fanboying the entire time. Y/N-chan is so cute.
