I wake up, brushing a strand of hair out of Jules face. She smiles softly, waking up from her sleep. Her eyes flutter open as she blushes, yawning lightly.
"Did you sleep well?" I ask in a whispered tone.
She giggles, shaking her head, "With those two at the foot of our bed?" She asks, pulling up the covers, showing Darnell and Abigail laying down.
I shrug my shoulders, "That's what happens when thunderstorms occur." I chuckle.
Jules shakes her head, giggling breathlessly as she smiles softly, "Where do they even get that fear from?" She asks.
I glance at her, "You." I state as she giggles, hitting me with a pillow.
"Shut up!" She squeals.
I lay back down on the bed, pulling Jules closer to me.
I fidget with her fingers as we both look at the star display on our roof, "Do you remember that time... we were at the airport, right before our vacation when we got engaged. I mumbled that thing and you said you didn't hear me?" I ask in a low tone.
Jules nods, "What did you say anyways?" She asks.
I turn towards her, "I admitted that I was so in love with you. So beyond in love with you." I state.
She turns to me, "Seriously? Why didn't you just tell me that?" She asks.
I shrug my shoulders, "Honestly, you were the first girl I was ever in love with. I've been in love with you for a while, ever since you were young. And now, I finally have the girl of my dreams." I state, kissing her softly.
Jules smiles, blushing softly, "I love you."
"I love you." I state.
The both of us getting tackled by Abigail and Darnell. Both of us let out breathless laughter as we tickle the two of them.
I never would've imagined being with Jules and now my dreams have finally fulfilled. I'm so beyond grateful for her, she changed me for the better.
