Olivia and Charlie were walking slowly along the water without saying anything for a few minutes. Once they were a good distance away from Owen and Rickie, Olivia decided to be the first one to break the silence, 'Charles?'Charlie chuckled as he turned his head to see the moons soft light, allowing him to see Olivia's face, 'What's up?'
Olivia stopped in place as she turned to face Charlie. She bit her cheek as she tried to grow confidence to speak, 'I'm sorry about just leaving you like that.'
Charlie smiled softly as he admired the girl in the moon light, 'It's fine Olive... are you okay though?'
Olivia chuckled as she nodded softly, 'yeah, i'm fine. I just had to leave, i didn't want you to see me crying.'
Charlie laughed as he ran his hand through his hair, 'do you want to talk about what happened?' Olivia smiled at the boy, 'short version, i'm dropping out of school.'
Charlie titled his head in confusion, 'what? why?' Olivia bit her lip as she smiled softly, 'i just don't think school is something that i should be doing. Don't get me wrong, i love the experience, but i just don't think this is me. I feel like i should be doing something else.'
A smile grow on Charlie's face, 'I support you. I think that's a good way to figure out on what you should actually be doing.' Olivia was thankful that it was pitch black so you couldn't see her blush, 'thank you Charles.'
Charlie and Olivia had sat down on the sand and started talking about their lives and hobbies and just everything and anything. Olivia was in awe when Charlie would talk about his passion for music and acting, and Charlie would be in awe when Olivia would talk about the music she was writing.
Charlie learned that Olivia was super into the stars, moon and anything that involved outer space. Charlie loved the way Olivia's eyes lit up by just talking about how she believed the stars were people who had already passed away and he loved how she talked about the moon with so much passion. Olivia would stare at the moon in awe, as Charlie stared at the girl instead. Charlie found it adorable on how Olivia told him that she would talk to moon once in awhile and just tell her how she felt.
Same went to Olivia when Charlie would talk with passion about nature and how it was the most beautiful thing he had seen. Charlie could go on and on for hours just talking about how nature was beautiful and how he absolutely adored every second he was surrounded by it, and Olivia wouldn't complain once. Olivia was in awe when Charlie would tell her stories about his family back in Canda and how they were close. Charlie told the girl embarrassing stories about his childhood, which made Olivia laugh which Charlie absolutely loved.
It had been an hour, when Olivia received a text message from Rickie saying Owen and him were putting stuff into the car, so they could leave. Charlie helped the girl up from the ground and gripped her tight when she had almost fallen to the ground.
Charlie and Olivia had started walking back to the car side by side, as their hands continued to brush next to each other. Charlie had finally grew the confidence to place his hand in hers as they walked with big grins. As they made their way to the car, Olivia began telling Charlie about the times Owen and her had performed multiple songs in front of her parents, which always ended up with Owen being a spotlight hog.
'I literally cried for hours because Owen would take the parts i was supposed to sing and literally outshine me,' Olivia said as she chuckled at the memory of Owen and her performing the theme song of Mickey Mouse Club House for her parents.
Charlie laughed as he looked at the girl with a smile, 'did he ever apologize?'
Olivia nodded as she chuckled, 'we had this thing where if we were mad each other, the person who wanted to say sorry had to give the other person a chocolate bar and they would automatically forgive them.'
Charlie chuckled as he nodded, 'sounds like a real deal.' Olivia smiled, 'oh it was Charles. I always ended up getting a chocolate bar every week.'
Charlie chuckled as he looked up seeing the Owen and Rickie putting the umbrella they bought, in the back, 'do you guys still do it till this day?'
Olivia nodded as she smiled at Charlie, 'kind of. It's not as much since we don't live together, so we don't get mad at each other as much, but here and there, Owen or me would send each other money so we're able to buy the chocolate yourselves.'
Olivia and Charlie had finally reach the car as they saw Owen and Rickie smirking at the sight of Olivia and Charlie holding hands. 'I hope you guys used protection, i don't want to be an uncle yet,' Owen said as he raised his eyebrows towards Charlie.
Charlie rolled his eyes as he chuckled, 'Owen, shut up.' Olivia and Rickie chuckled as Owen pretended his heart was broken with his hands. 'Let's go guys. I just want to lay down on my bed and sleep, Owen was literally so boring,' Rickie said as he closed the trunk and headed to the drivers side.
'Hey! you guys just hate to see me succeed in life,' Owen said as he made his way to passenger side as Charlie and Olivia laughed at him.
Olivia was making her way back door, when Charlie gently pulled her back towards him and smiled looking down at her, 'i had fun today, we should do it again.'
Olivia chuckled as she nodded, 'definitely. next time i have a breakdown, i'll text you.'
Charlie rolled his eyes and he placed a kiss on her forehead, 'funny, forgot how funny you were.'
Olivia chuckled as Charlie released his grip from her hand and made his way to the other back door. Olivia climbed inside the car as Charlie sat beside her smiling at her. Olivia shook her head as she looked forward smiling like crazy.
