Any recommendation of a show? I'd love to check it out.

Quote for the chapter:

"Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything."

Natalie felt extremely embarrassed. She doesn't know how to face Chloe after this. She was worried, not a word should reach Jevon or else he would report back to her parents. Her parents are already extremely busy. She loves her parents and doesn't want them to worry. She knows she's the princess of the family.

She went inside her room with a tray of sweets and tea. The room was indeed huge. The design of the room was simple yet elegant. The walls were carved beautifully. The curtains were yellowish. She has a queen size bed filled with stuff toys her father gave her. It helps her sleep better. There was also a study table with some books piled up that she borrowed from their mansion's library in London.

"Hey, hey. Natalie, are you okay?" Jevon asked.

They were now inside the Hughes family sub-mansion. Jevon and Natalie have been neighbors since they were young. They live in a closed village near the school with only five mansions at most. One of the most prestigious villages in the area.

"I lost control Vonie." Natalie said, trembling.

"Don't call me that," Jevon said with a light laugh.

Jevon has blonde hair and deep blue eyes with a charming smile. Jevon was really nice and friendly. This is his real attitude unlike the others guys. When she decided to date him, it was the safest choice at least. Besides, he was her childhood friend and best friend. If she's already taken, no one would bother to make a move on her. She never liked the attention she got from other boys, but with Jevon, it was somehow tolerable.

"I did you a favor not calling you that at school," Natalie said.

Natalie used to call Jevon, Vonie, when they were young. Despite the bulky appearance of Jevon, he used to be skinny and follow Natalie like a cute little rabbit when he was young. She would sometimes tease him about his childhood. It's quite funny how Jevon would always reach with a pout then smile at her.

"Hey. It's okay. Have you called your parents?"

Natalie shook her head. She doesn't want to trouble her parents, especially her sister. Jevon would always be worried for her since he knows Natalie fully well. He knows that she doesn't want to trouble her parents, especially her sister. Her sister and her have been close ever since they were young. They would sometimes argue but those arguments just made them closer than before.

"Why not? Natie, I'll inform your dad. He'll be worried if something happens. I'm not going to accept no for an answer."

Natalie sensed that Jevon must have known that it happened again. The goody two-shoes that Jevon is would always report to her parents.

"I don't know how you sensed that it happened again, but it didn't okay? So there's nothing to report."

"You can't fool me. I know you fully well." Jevon said with a smirk.

She could never make Jevon change his mind. She just has to be mentally prepared and hope that her parents won't overreact.

"Americans." Natalie said with a smile.

"You're half American. Now come on let's have dinner. I'll stay in the guest room tonight." Jevon said while sticking his tongue out.

Natalie smiled. She would never choose many friends over Jevon. Somehow, she feels guilty and that he deserves so much more than this, and that he needs someone who loves him not her. The fact that their relationship is preventing him from meeting the one was choking her inside.
