You find yourself lying on your bed late in the night, with Seokjin on your side this time instead of being separated by the thin wall between the two bedrooms.

Both of you are lying on your sides, facing each other, letting yourselves lost in each other's gazes. Outside, the wind is building up to a storm, a sign of hail coming as the snowfall grows thicker and harder as the night keeps growing late, the sounds they are making keep getting intense as they fall against the roof while the weather keeps picking up.

But none of it matters, when the unsettling storm that had been overflowing your heart for the past few days is no longer there to take over you. You choose to welcome the peaceful feeling that comes in its absence, to enjoy this solitude where you can finally feel the mate bond sparkling between you and Seokjin without any boundaries coming in between. All of the things that had been bothering you and what had made you keep pushing this beautiful bond away seems ridiculous now that you are lying next to him. Never once had you ever felt as full as you are now. As if there had been a missing part of you that is finally falling into place, making you feel complete and whole again.

"What are you thinking about?" Seokjin asks you after a few moments of silence. Even with the steady sound of the wind trying to lull you both to sleep, neither of you is feeling it dragging you away from each other just yet.

You give him a shrug. "Oh, I don't know. A lot of things. But mostly just marvelling on how crazy things have been lately and wondering what's going to happen next."

"What's next, huh?" Seokjin teases you by wiggling his eyebrows. "I think we both know where this is leading to."

He starts leaning closer as he is teasing you, looking as if he is ready to kiss you. But you move fast enough to pull away. "Easy there, Alpha bear," you laugh at him as you push him on his shoulder, sending him falling on his back.

"Oof—rejected," he groans dramatically with his palm pressing on his chest, making you laugh even louder.

"No, I'm just saying—"

Seokjin stops you from finishing your sentence by pressing a finger on your lips. The smile he is giving you shows you that he understands exactly what you are trying to say. "I know, baby. I get it. Don't worry about it, I'm a pretty patient man. My bear, however—" He sighs, shaking his head. "He is an Alpha, after all, and Alphas are quite known as impatient creatures."

"So I've heard," you murmur softly, grinning at the thought of his bear, and thinking just how stubborn he can be. You had witnessed it yourself back when he first appeared in his bear form, while his human mind was still buried deep inside him.

You may have skipped a lot of things back when you were learning about shifters back at your coven, including those regarding all this mating business you are dealing with. But you do remember reading about Alpha's personality traits, and it has been confirmed through his story that Seokjin has Alpha blood inside him. Both from his story—the things he had shared with you about his family and upbringing—and the fact that Seokjin has the ability to converse with his other self, unlike any regular shifters or Weres.
