*My POV:*
After the fireworks finished and we were done with the snacks, we walked back to the hotel. Me and Jordan stayed as far away from each other as possible. I silently brushed my teeth when I we got back and got ready for bed. Me and Jordan slept on opposite sides of the bed. I was very cold though so I put on my Adventure Time sweatshirt and some socks and I became very cozy.
Something about earlier was nagging at me though. WE ALMOST KISSED! Why did everything have to be so complicated. I just wanted to be friends again, but I don't know what to expect to happen. Thinking wasn't going to help me go to sleep so I went to grab my phone and earphones listened to My Chemical Romance on Spotify until I fell asleep.
I woke up with I'm Not Okay playing and I was happy for a second until remembering the events of last night. Jordan was still asleep so hurried into the restroom. I quickly brushed my teeth, took a shower, put lotion and deodorant on, and changed. Today I wore a black MCR sweatshirt (based on my Together We March sweatshirt 😊), black jeans, my black beanie, and my black docs. I felt like wearing black today.
I quickly put eyeliner on and I was about to leave the room when a already showered and dressed Jordan grabbed my arm. I turned around surprised and just stared at him wide eyed, not knowing what to expect. He asked, "Can I say something please?" "Fire away," I replied, dead-pan. "Look what happened yesterday... uh..... can we please just forget about it," he asked.
Battling with myself I finally figured that I should just let it go so we can go back to being friends. "Okay fine," I said rolling my eyes playfully. He looked very relieved when I said that. We hugged and walked outside to where Tiff and Mario were waiting for us.
