After exploring the island, Luna and the guys decided to camp out near the shore.
Gene set up a campfire and once he had a fire going, they all sat down next to it to keep warm.
Luna could hear the wind whistling in her ears and then she looked up at the sky.
"What'cha thinking about, curly"?
Ace asked.
"I was just thinking about that fateful night. I wished that all those innocent people who were on the ship didn't loose their lives".
Paul could now feel her emotions and his black star lit up purple as he read her mind.
(Beginning of Flashback)
(*April 14, 1912*)
The RMS TITANC was sinking after it had hit an iceberg. Thousands of screaming passagers held on for dear life as the ship's bow tore in half, tipping itself over.
"Hurry! Everyone to the lifeboats"!
The Captain urged everyone.
How could he have been so foolish to listen to that despicable gentleman who convinced him to go at full-speed?
The crew had already sent a distress signal using fireworks, but who knows if help will arrive in time.
Women and children were on life boats separated from the men on one side while the men scrambled to find a seat on the other life boats.
Many other passengers were still helplessly on the broken half side of the ship, while others decided to let go and fall into the freezing water down below.
After two hours, survivors watched in horror as the Titanic sank to the bottom of the ocean, taking lots of other passengers with her to their watery graves.
It wasn't until the next morning when another ship finally came to rescue the remaining passengers who had been anxiously waiting for their arrival.
But for a lot of them, help came too late.
The frozen corpses of women, children, men, and even young infants were discovered floating lifeless on the water's surface.
Many other bodies were recovered from the area where the Titanic had met its fate.
Some of the corpses who were badly decomposed couldn't be identified.
They were buried at sea.
