Izuku was sitting on the couch in the upstairs living room, writing more information on his classmates in his notebook when the doorbell rang. He stood and walked down the stairs, unlocking the front door and opening it.
There she was again. The black haired woman that'd come over to the Midoriya household frequently to 'talk' with Hisashi, Izuku's father. She was dressed in a red silk dress that reached her feet, black heels, a black lace bracelet resting on her left wrist and her hair was put into a neat fish-tail braid. "Oh..Hello again..Ma'am.." Izuku muttered, not ever being the woman's name before.
"Oh sweetie, call me Kayano. We've known each other long enough." She said, smiling and placing her right hand on Izuku's left shoulder. Izuku only now noticed the teen standing behind 'Kayano'. She had the same black hair, was dressed in a forest green t-shirt that was tucked into a black skirt that went to her mid-thighs, a black choker that had a emerald placed in the middle wrapped firmly, yet not too tightly, around her lower neck, her hair in a side ponytail. Only then did Izuku recognize the girl.
"Yaoyorozu-san?.." He asked quietly, shocking Kayano. Mom looked up, staring Izuku in the eyes and waved awkwardly. He stayed silent for a bit, only now realizing the reason his father had made him wear a black suit and forest green tie. "Papa! Kayano's here!" He shouted, an unnoticed venom lacing his tone at Kayano's name.
Down the stairs came Hisashi, dressed in a black suit with a red tie. His curly hair looked more tamed than normal, he seemed to have shaved, and his face looked like it'd been cleaned. "Hello, Kayano. And you must be Momo, I've heard a lot about you from your mother." He said, hugging Kayano and shaking hands with Momo. Izuku quietly growled at the affection Hisashi gave to Kayano, not liking how close they were. Hisashi seemed to be the only one to notice it and brought the women into the downstairs living room, letting them sit. "We'll be back in a second, I need to fix his hair." Hisashi lied, lightly yanking Izuku up the stairs.
"Why are we all dressed up? And why're you so 'touchy' with her!? What about mom? Do you not love her anymore or something?!" Izuku yelled as they reached a random room in the house. He stumbled back when he felt a sharp pain on his cheek, it stung.
"Don't bring Inko into this. She's dead and she won't come back, face reality and move on like I am!" Hisashi shouted, a bit loudly, alarming the women who sat on the couch and heard muffled yelling. "Cover that damn mark and lead the Yaoyorozu's to my car." He scowled, leaving the room and going to his own to grab something.
Izuku looked in the mirror, no doubt about it, there was a very visible pink, slowly bruising, hand mark on his cheek. He sighed and covered the mark, drawing freckles on his cheek with water-proof eye-liner. He looked up, preventing tears from spilling down his face.
----
The car ride was awkward to the silent teens who sat in the backseat. Momo noticed Izuku's mood was different from when they were at school, he seemed..sad? Angered? But mostly hurt."Midoriya-Kun?...Are you alright?" Momo asked quietly, making sure the adults didn't hear her. Izuku just nodded as they parked at a restaurant and left the car.
The group of four sat and ate, the only silent one being Izuku. Then, the screech of a chair sliding across the floor got Izuku, Kayano, and Momo's attention. Hisashi stood and took Kayano's hand, raising Izuku's suspicion. "Hisashi?.." Kayano asked quietly and The black haired male sighed and nodded to himself.
"Kayano..these two years of us dating has been amazing. I love you so very much and..I want to be with you forever so.." He kneeled down on one knee and pulling out a ring, causing Izuku and Kayano to tear up slightly and Momo to place a hand over her mouth. "So..will you marry me, Kayano Yaoyorozu?" He asked, popping the ring box open. Momo and Izuku stared at the two adults, tears of anger and grief threatening to fall down Izuku's contoured face.
Kayano nodded her head violently and shouted 'yes' over a million times, the people in the restaurant clapped and cheered, Hisashi hugged Kayano after placing the ring on her finger, Momo clapped and cried happily, Izuku just sat there, frozen.
----{Major time-skip to after the wedding}----
Izuku ran into his room, tearing off his vest and dress shirt, then his pants. He tore an 'All Might' hood out of the closet and slid it on, putting on gym shorts that were loose on his now slimmer form. He sat against his bed, tucking his head between his knees and torso. He let tears slip.
The now family of four had merged money a week before the marriage and moved into Kayano's mansion, selling off the house Izuku had grown up in with his mother and father. He hadn't cried since before the engagement, he was too scared to cry with two new people in his life. He didn't want either of the women walking in on him crying yet, life had different choices right now.
"Mido- Izuku?.." A feminine voice asked, it was Momo, she was wearing black leggings and a yellow striped turtleneck. She shut the door quietly behind her and went to sit next to Izuku. "What's wrong? Is it because of the marriage?" She asked. Izuku nodded. In an attempt to make Izuku laugh she said, "Gosh, didn't think I was that bad.." Izuku chuckled at this.
"It's not that YaoMomo..I just..I miss my mama. I don't want a different one. I'm fine with having a sister..I just don't want to replace mama." He explained. Momo nodded and wrapped an arm around Izuku, pulling him closer to her.
"So, you think of me as a sister now? Like, no 'just friend' kind of thing until you're comfortable?" Momo questioned, earning a nod. She smiled as she felt Izuku nodding off in her arms. "Okay..rest well..brother.." She whispered.
"You too..Sister.."
