“Wow"
“Yup.”
“So your like an alien…” I shot him a look. “A super hot alien whom I am lucky to share the same air with.” I laughed.
“Do think you’ll ever go back?” Trenton’s voice was a whisper, so quiet that I almost didn’t hear him.
“Even if I wanted to, which I don’t,” I added quickly, “I would have no idea how to get back up there or even find it.
“But if you could, would you?”
“No.” It was automatic. “I would be leaving to much behind here.” Trenton gave me a crooked smile that made my hear stop.
“Good, because I think it would be really hard to find a girl who knows cars, Spanish, and what to do when you drive into a lake.”
“I am pretty bad ass, aren’t I?”
“Not as bad ass as me!” He flexed a toned arm.
“Oh, we’ll see about that!” I lifted my hand, taking the water with me. It floated in the air bending and twirling. Trenton’s jaw dropped with awe. He lifted his fingers until it met the water. He pulled back in shock as if he hadn’t expected it to be there. “Woah… h-how do you do that?”
“I don’t know, I just do, all the people where I’m from can.”
"But how did the first person do it... there had to be a patient zero, the first to figure this out."
Patient Zero. He makes me sound like a disease. "You just concentrate on the water, or whatever you're controlling, and focus on all the little beads of water lifting of the ground," I demonstrated with the water from lunch, "After takeoff you just move the water where it wants to go, you can't water on a leash and teach it tricks, only be its guide. If you try to forced it to hard you can block up your energy flow and loose the connection." I played around with the water a bit, staring at Trenton's wide eyes.
"You are so sexy when your showing off," His dark voice reverberated through my chest as his footsteps dragged his body closer to me. His eyes latched onto mine, their green glow heating me to my very core. I got lost as my head raced faster and faster. All coherent thoughts were a distant memory how how sanity tasted because Trenton was driving me crazy.
He lifted his hand up to my shoulder brushing away some stray hair, sending tingles up my arm. I felt the blood rush to my cheeks as my whole body seemed to become electrified with his touch. Trenton's hand trailed down my arm and found it's way in between my fingers.
"Maybe I should show off more often." Confidenced bursting in my voice. I lifted myself onto my toes, inches from his face.
"Maybe you should." Trenton's voice reverberated in his chest, his cool breath washed over my face, intoxicating me. Trenton looked down at me with warmth radiating every inch of his face, he closed the short distance between us. I had never felt so happy. Trenton's mouth fit perfectly into mine and he as he drew back just too soon, there was a smile plastered on his face.
"Now that is how you show off." Trenton laughed and gave me another peck on the mouth. He looked down at his watch quickly, "Oh shit, I didn't even see the time! I'm sorry V but I have an appointment with an expensive salon and a hairdresser who will be very mad at me if I'm late another time. Can I give you a ride home?" Trenton broke away, grabbing his coat and handing me my clothing that had been washed prior to lunch. Most likely by Louise, how some gets used to having everything done for them I'll never understand.
Thinking of my "family", "If you give me a ride to the bus station, I can take it from their." I grabbed my clothes off the counter and headed to the bathroom.
A short car ride later the Calfornia costal winds were biting at my cheeks. There were storm warning flashing across all the news stations and the idea that I may be spending my next few nights cleaning out the theater of water was not comforting. As the bus pulled up to the stop, I ran onto the warm safety of the heated vehicle, stopping quickly to popped the bus fare in the driver's box. I slid into my seat as rain began to beat down on the window and a violent gust of wind shook the bus in its place. Gods only know what kind of plan their trying to execute up there. I shuddered to think of the thought that had gone into planning this storm and what was really in store.

"Class can I bring your attention to the board for a moment please?" Chatter began to ebb as we all settled into our seats.
"You have to tell me what happened! I wanted all the specifics right down to the scent of his cologne." Beth's idea of whispering seemed to be more of a strained shout, not very pretty sounding and not all that subtle.
"Will you quit it for one period, please!" Even though this was american history, therefore I wasn't missing anything I couldn't google later, I still was dodging the inevitable talk that was going to have to happen. The relentless army of one had been pestering me since spanish to explain all the gory details on how my date with Trenton turned from fairytale to car wreck to a sleepover. I leaned back in my chair ignoring the daggers Beth threw at me. I could feel her eyes burning a hole in the side of my face as I turned my attention to the front of the room.
"We have a new student, Mr...." I saw the teacher turn to the boy sitting front and center, why this man even bothered to try is beyond me, I mean in two years I'm going to look back and not remember a thing I learned in this class.
The poor kid sat up a little straighter in his seat and cleared his throat, "Sky." I froze in my place, that voice, It couldn't be, not here, not now. The boy stood up and turned around to face the class, "Sam Sky," and then looking straight at me, my brother winked.
