Harry's POV

Everything went in slow motion.

Screaming, bullets, yelling, shouting.

The school was destroyed.

Tears ran down my face.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no!" I kept chanting fisting my curls.

I quickly ran over to the school that was completely destroyed and gasped.

I saw an arm with bracelets on them and quickly ran over to it.

I picked up pieces of wood and tossed it away and saw Athena with tears in her eyes.

"Baby, I'm so sorry." I cried.

All she did was smile.

"No, no, no. I know that look! Your strong. Baby, your strong, you can make it. I know you can. Athena, baby please stay strong for me." I cried as police ran over to us picking her up and placing her gently on the gurney.

They put an oxygen mask on her when I noticed her one hand was holding her stomach which was pouring out blood.

I walked with the police who were rushing her into the ambulance.

I told them that I was her father and they let me in.

All Athena did was look into my eyes.

I held her good hand and kissed it.

Her eyes closed than a couple moments later opened.

The heart monitor was beeping slower than it was before.

"Keep those eyes open. Don't you dare close those beautiful brown eyes." I said trying to encourage her to not close her eyes.

"SHE'S GOING INTO A SHOCK STATE!" one of the paramedics yelled to the driver which made them drive faster.

Her eyes drooped again and I gave her a pleading look.

"Athena, baby, keep them open for daddy." I said with tears running down my face.

I knew she didn't have a lot of strength but she couldn't close them. Not yet.

Her eyes squeezed shut then opened them again.

"Dad." she said not even above a whisper.

I nodded with a smile.

"Stay strong for dad." I said with tears coming down harder than they were before.

Once we got to the hospital everyone made way for Athena.

"Stay here sir, we'll give you information on your daughter once she's stable." a nurse said guiding me towards the waiting room.

I waited there a couple minutes until the boys and their girlfriends came running in.

"Harry!" Jade said running towards me.

She hugged me tight as I just stood there.

No emotions.

All I wanted was my daughter.

I wanted her in my arms.

I wanted to watch her sing and dance.

I wanted to see her laugh and play with little kids at the park.

I didn't want her to get shot.

I didn't want her to be in an explosion.

I wanted her to be safe.

I couldn't take it anymore.

I gripped onto Jade not letting go.

"It's ok. Shhh..... Harry it's ok." she cooed.

"It's not ok." I cried out.

It's not ok.

~~~||~~~
We have been here for like 6 or 7 hours already.
The scene has already been shown on the news since then.
Gabe and Ricella came with their family as well joining us for the long wait.
Another hour went by and a doctor came.
"Athena Styles?" the doctor called.
All of us stood up and waited for her to speak.
"Alright, I have some good news and some bad news, good news is that Athena made it out of surgery perfectly. The bullet didn't hit any major organs and she should make it to recovery." she said with a slight smile.
"Bad news?" Jade asked.
"She's in a coma. And we can't really tell when she's going to wake up." The doctor said.
"Can we go see her?" I asked.
"Yes of course." she said with a smile.
"Thank you doctor." louis said and we all walked off to Athena's room.
She's in a coma.
This isn't real.
It can't be real.
We walked into her room and saw something that we didn't want to see.
Athena was hooked up to so many wires and tubes.
An oxygen mask was placed on her.
Her arms were laid right beside her.
She was paler than usual.
Seeing her in this state made me want to cry.
I just wanted to go in a corner, roll up into a ball and cry.
That's all I want to do.
But I want to see her eyes.
Those beautiful brown eyes.
