𝟏𝟓-𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑-𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐎𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍 is not a fighter. She never has been, and she never will be. Thanks to her missing leg replaced with steel, Tess is a girl made for machines. Electrical language pierces her cobalt blue eyes, and where she should have a beating heart full of love and passion, it's replaced with one of stone and metal, eventually rusting over, leaving nothing but scraps. Tess is a girl waiting for oblivion, haunted by monsters in the night and demons in the day. Tess wishes she were a droid instead, unable to feel. All thought and no heart.
𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒, 𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐒 has kept to herself, acting as sole mechanic in the terrorized, once prosperous town of Mos Pelgo, on the desert planet Tatooine. It is here that Tess finds shelter in the arms of the Marshal, a man who keeps the town in shape, having warded off several different Banking clans and Tusken raiders that tried to take of the mining colony. The Marshal gives Tess the space she needs, and in return, Tess patches up his stolen Mandalorian armor. Now Tess works in the forge, mending broken droids, always coming up with new ideas for machines to build (that never work).
𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐒' 𝐓𝐎𝐖𝐍 is far from safe, as Mos Pelgo is haunted by the krayt dragon, a beast that won't stop destroying their harvests and supplies. One day, while she's cleaning up, the dragon completely destroys her forge, smashing all of her precious technology to bits, leaving her with nothing but the clothes on her back. In a rage, Tess turns on the Marshal, demanding that a new mechanic shop be put up, for she is nothing without a space to work and forget about the world. Instead, she finds an armor clad warrior with a small, green child.
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐒entangled in the lives of the Mos Pelgo people, and subsequently, Tess'. As she helps the Marshal and this strange bounty hunter plan a way to defeat the Dragon, Tess learns that the child the Mandalorian is taking care of is able to move things with his mind. Tess feels a connection form between her and this little creature, and when the real fight begins, Tess learns more about herself than she could have ever imagined...
