Suit

JJ looked over at the cupboard and then opened it up. Neil walked into the room with two mugs and frowned. "Should I be worried?"

"No. Just was looking at your suits. Do you only wear black?" He shrugged his shoulders as he stood beside her. She carefully took a mug off him and kissed his cheek to thank him.

"To be fair, for work I usually just wear pants and a shirt. For meetings I would wear the full suit."

"But even then you only wear black. I think you would sexy in a navy one. With those brown shoes. Or even a grey one." He shook his head before kissed the top of head.

Neil pat down his trousers when he heard the knock on the door. He slowly stood up and walked to open the door for the JJ. She greeted him with a smile before leaning in for a kiss.

"I've got a little show for you," he said nervously.

"Oh?" she said with a raised eyebrow. She stepped in and he closed the door. "Lara isn't even asleep yet."

"Nothing like that. I bought a few new clothes and I want to show you." She stayed silent for a few seconds before smirking.

"Do I get to at least see you undress?"

"No," he said with a laugh. "But let me get you a glass of wine and we'll start."

"Wow!" JJ exclaimed when he walked out with a dark grey suit. She let her eyes roam over the fitted pants that hug his thighs before glancing at the black patterned shirt. She zoomed in with the camera and laughed softly. "Give us a little twirl." Nervously he turned around. "Oh honey you look so good. Doesn't he Lara?"

"You look really handsome daddy."

He glanced up at JJ again and found her grinning as she stared at him. With a smile, he walked up to her and leaned down to kiss her. "I love you," he whispered.

"Well I love you too. But we want to see the next one."

Once Neil put the last suit on, he combed his fingers through his hair and walked out slowly. "This is the last one."

"Oh, so no more fashion show?"

"No. I have a feeling you might like this one."

He slowly stepped into view and heard her gasp. "Neil! I love it! Spin, spin." He chuckled as he twirled around. "Oh you even got the brown shoes. Take off your blazor and throw it over your shoulder." He laughed once again and did what she said. "What?! Is that my very handsome boyfriend? Why yes it is. You look amazing honey."

"Oh honey?" Neil put his head back into the kitchen only to be met with JJ's lips. He chuckled as he rest a hand on her waist. "Nothing. Just wanted to say I love you."

"Well I love you too. But I gotta leave for work. You sure you're gonna be okay with Lara all day?"

She rolled her eyes before gently pushing away from him. "I'll be fine. Now go." He smiled as he watched her hide her smirk. He knew she wanted to smile so stepped closer to kiss the top of her head. "I love you cara. I'll see the both of you later."

JJ looked up from her laptop and sighed. She walked over to the phone and lucked it up. "Hey honey."

"Hey baby." She laughed softly as she sat back down on the chair.

"Alright what do you want?"

"What? Nothing."

"Uh huh. You always say baby when you want something."

He stayed quiet for a few seconds. "Can I have a few drinks with the guys?"

"Neil, that's absurd!"

"I'll take that as a no..." he murmered.

"I'm not saying that. I don't know why you're asking."

"Because you've been with Lara all day and I don't want you to think that I'm just leaving you to baby sit."

"Neil, go and have a few drinks. Get drunk if you want to as long as you get a ride home that's all I care about." She heard him hesitate. "Honey...you don't go out enough. I've literally got Lara reading a book. She's going to do her homework in ten minutes and we've already eaten lunch. While she does her work I'm gonna cook some dinner. If you make it in time for that let me know so I'll set you a plate. Have fun."

"Are you sure?"

"If you don't then I will call your friends and tell them to forcefully make you have fun. I love you."

"I love you too. And thank you."

"Oh ladies!"

"Daddy!" Lara got up from her seat and ran towards the door. Neil chuckled as he knelt to hug her. "I missed you."

"Well I missed you too, tesero. Have you eaten yet?"

"Hey honey." Neil looked up with a smile before standing. "You look surprisingly sober."

"Only had two drinks and then went out to eat and play a game of rugby. Sobered up pretty quick."

"Well I hope you had fun. If you're hungry the potatoes will be out in ten minutes." Lara took a step back and Neil leaned towards JJ to give her a kiss.

"Let me take a shower and I will join you two."

"Why did you come back early?" JJ asked softly as she crawled into bed. Neil looked up from his phone and smiled. Her hair was pulled back into a plait.

"Because although I loved spending time with the boys I wanted to come home and spend some time with my ladies."

"And is that why you're not drunk?"

"Yes because I like hanging out with you two when I'm sober. Now come here so I can give you a kiss." She laughed softly before leaning in to kiss him. "I love you." He buried his face into her neck listening to her giggle. "I love you, I love you, I love you!"

"Stop it!" Neil slowly pulled away and watched her shuffle away from him with a giggle. He extended a hand out and gently placed it on her cheek. "I love you too..." she whispered.
