monday to friday | hyunin

friday

the date was decided to be in a coffee shop. the coffee shop hyunjin worked at, because they both seemed very comfortable and happy there.

the two sat in the corner where - basically no one would see them. chatting and laughing.

"you have really nice lips." jeongin blurted out.

"they taste nice too." hyunjin winked.

"oh, i'd die to have a taste of them." jeongin responded confidently. he had even stood up and  sat next to the blonde.

hyunjin smirked. only for it to be wiped off when jeongin's face inched closer and closer.

then their lips connected.

hyunjin could taste the coffee that still lingered on jeongin's lips.

and jeongin could taste the strawberry lip balm that he always saw hyunjin put on. his tongue pressed at the seam of hyunjin's lips.

''excuse me, get a room.'' someone cleared their throat.

the two pulled away, a pink-ish blush spreading on hyunjin's face. meanwhile jeongin's ears turned a deep shade of red.

''felix!'' jeongin said.

''aren't you changbin's boyfriend?'' hyunjin tilted his head.

''aha... so you've heard,'' felix said as he sat down opposite the pair. the said man suddenly appeared.

''what is this? a double date?'' hyunjin scoffed.

''make it triple,'' a new voice said, followed by dragging sounds of chairs.

''minho?'' changbin tilted his head, ''jisung?'' his eyes widened. ''whoa, didn't know that'd ever happened.

''called it,'' felix laughed.

''don't mind us joining.'' 

''seungmin!'' jeongin gasped.

''and chan...?'' hyunjin tilted his head, ''bang chan?''

changbin looked behind him at the name, almost choking on the coffee he had sipped. felix pat his back.

''be quiet, please, don't want to get people's attention.'' bang chan laughed, another pair of chairs dragged to the table. 

''i never - what the fuck.'' hyunjin muttered.

''language.'' jeongin hit hyunjin's shoulder.

''seems like - we all - kinda know eachother...'' jisung said quietly.

''it's fate.'' minho said jokingly.

''let's just all be together then.'' changbin laughed out loud.

''y'know what, i'm gonna lea--'' chan began to stand.

''sit down,'' seungmin pulled chan back down.

''aren't you the boy that's going to join my business?'' bang chan looked at jeongin.

''you remember me?''

''i remember everyone, what was it? jeongin...'' chan smiled, snapping his fingers.

the young boy was about to burst of happiness.

''so, are you two a thing, or what?'' minho looked at hyunjin and jeongin.

the pair glanced at eachother. catching eachother's gazes before looking away. 

''yeah,''

''yeah..''

they said in unison.
