Unexpected Visit

Korra somehow woke up early in the morning. Which was unnatural for her since she didn't like the mornings. She looked over to her partner after remembering Asami had an early business meeting. So Korra shoke Asami gently trying to wake her up. Asami started to mumble before she sat up lazily, eyes half lidded then yawning. "You woke me up even though its morning?? What happened to the mornings are evil huh?" Asami asked with a smug grin on her face. She gave korra a brief kiss on the check before getting up. Korra yawned as well before flopping back on the bed. "They are most definitely! But Jinora asked me to join her meditation session today and i can't say no to her." Asami went in the bathroom to fix herself up and get ready for the day. "Why not? You say no to Tenzin."

"Shush!! Tenzin sessions are kinda a bore. I mean i love the guy and all but sometimes he takes the meaning of patience to literal. Just thinking about it makes my back hurt..." Asami came out the bathroom chuckling before answering.

"Why is it so different than Jinora then?"

"I'm not...really sure..how to explain it. I guess it's because she's not as harsh as Tenzin. Jinora is mature for her age and very spiritually connected."

"I can see the spiritually connected part but are you sure its because she isn't too hard on you when you don't focus." Asami teased. Korra gave out an huff turning her head. "Don't you have a business meeting to get to or something?"

"Don't you have to go meditate with Jinora soon?" Asami retorted back. She flopped on the bed and gave Korra a kiss on the cheek and ran a hand through Korra's head. Korra pouted in fake annoyance before relucting getting up to get ready as well. Asami giggled at Korra before hopping off the bed. "Come on avatar i'll drop you off." Korra poked her head outta the bathroom.

"I thought you had to go early?"

"Not that early Korra, it's 6 in the morning my meeting doesn't start till 8. Spirits knows why you even woke this early. Are you an imposter?"  Asami harassed playfully.

"Very funny Asami. I'm gonna feed Naga and let her out." Korra left the bathroom and room to go find Naga. She quickly found the polar-bear dog in her respective room. Korra called Naga outta the room and took her outside. After letting Naga do her business Korra went back inside and shouted for Asami. Already prepared to go the two left out in one of Asami's many cars. They laughed and flirted all the way to the ferry in under thirty minutes. Asami decided to take Korra all the way since she still had enough time to get to Future Industries afterwords. When they arrived on the island Tenzin and Jinora were there to greet them. Korra gave an akward wave at Tenzin who had an expression that cannot be read. "Heyyyyy Tenzin. I thought you would be training with the new airbenders hehe...." Tenzin face still has not changed as he did not respond. Jinora stepped in front of her dad ignoring his mood. "Hey Korra. Hey Asami how have you guys been?" Asami gave Jinora a hug soon following everyone to the main hall while Tenzin and Korra had a conversation that cannot be heard. "We've been alright. Focusing on stablizing Future Industries for awhile after everything that has happened."

"Is it also to spend more time with Korra?" Jinora smiled.

"We always make time for each other. But so what if i want to be selfish a little with my girlfriend!" Asami defended herself trying hard not to blush. "How are you and Kai?"

" Don't try to turn it around on me. Me and Kai are doing fine if that's your concern." They both turned hearing the sound of a fustrated groan. "Is Tenzin upset about Korra not meditating with him?"
