The rest of the evening went as expected, Ginny and Harry left to shop around Diagon Alley and meet up with Ron and Hermione. Ollie worked in the shop until around 2, the went on his break.

He typically worked from 9:30ish in the morning to 8 or 9. George and Fred didn't have a consistent opening time, as long as the shop was opened before 11 they seemed pretty content. Usually Ollie opened for them, being one of their only employees, unless one of the twins was up before him. He didn't mind working long days, in fact he particularly enjoyed it. He was allowed to take a lunch break whenever, as long as someone could watch the counter, and he got an hour, plus whenever else he could get someone to cover for him. With that, his days off stayed pretty flexible, Fred and George didn't much mind as long as he let them know.

After his break the day slowed down, George had left to pick something up, and Fred had gone upstairs. Ollie used the shop's speakers to play some of his music quietly.

Quietly humming along to "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears he roamed around the store aimlessly a cup of coffee. At this point there was no one in the store, George was out, and Fred was upstairs. Ollie took this opportunity to close his eyes and enjoy the music in the empty store. He roamed around, now singing along, his feet feeling lighter with the beat. He closed his eyes, imagining himself dancing with a boy, driving at dusk, lying down at the beach, watching the stars. One imaginary reality slowly faded into the next, with only one constant, all of which involved Fred Weasley and his adorable smile. Ollie, unfocused on this fact, slowly spun as the beat faded out, a soft smile on his face.

"Having fun?" Ollie nearly jumped out of his skin. Behind him, Fred Weasley had appeared at the bottom of the staircase.

Ollie went red. "How long have you been standing there?!" he exclaimed.

"From around 'I can't stand this indecision' on." Fred's massive smirk grew. "It was quite nice to watch actually, you looked very happy."

If possible, Ollie got redder. "Not a word. To anyone" he said sternly. Fred raised his hands and shook his head, as if to show he had done nothing. Ollie accepted that and went back to the counter.

Despite Ollie's clear embarrassment, Fred followed.

"You've got good music taste Levi" Fred said, as The Power of Love by Huey Lewis & The News started. With the name 'Levi', Ollie was reminded of years of quidditch, and distinguished between him, Levi, and Oliver Wood, Oli.

"Why thank you, Freddie." Oliver was barely making eye contact with Fred at this point. His head turned to the door at the sound of the bell, a few new customers had entered the shop.

"Well, I'm gonna go greet them" Fred started, Ollie still keeping his eyes glued to the display on the counter, his fingers fiddling with the different boxes of sweets. Out of nowhere, Fred grabbed the bottom of his chin and made Oliver make eye contact with him. "Have fun" he smirked, and tapped Oliver on the nose with his finger. "And turn the music up a bit!!" he yelled as he was walking to the customers.

Ollie blushed and giggled. He was starting to realize how Fred made him feel, but he wrote it off as just a little harmless crush that would pass any day now.

As the day came to a close, Ollie got more excited to see his friends. The twins and Ollie closed, packed up some of the displays, and left to meet Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Hermione at The Leaky Cauldron. When they arrived, the others were already at a table with their drinks.

George turned to both Fred and Oliver. "Drinks?" he asked. Fred and Ollie both requested a whiskey on the rocks, and George headed to the bar.

As they were walking over, Fred leaned in to speak to Ollie and started humming Tears for Fears. Ollie slapped his shoulder playfully but warningly, and Fred laughed. Fred was much taller than Ollie, being 6'1 while Ollie was only 5'8, something that Ollie always really liked.

The table was already laughing by the time they reached it, and when Hermione noticed Fred and Ollies arrival she got up to hug them both.

"Where's George?" she asked with a puzzled look.

"He's grabbing our drinks, I missed you 'Mione" Ollie said with a grin. He and Hermione caught up for a sec before she sat back down at Ron's side, and Ollie took the empty seat next to Ginny.

Much to his surprise, Fred plopped down next to Oliver, giving him a cheeky wink before joining the group's conversation. They chatted for a while and caught up. Turns out, Ron and Harry had joined a rec quidditch team (hearing this, Fred and George were very upset no one invited them), Ginny ran into Cho Chang a few weeks back, who was now dating Adrian Pucey, much to everyone's shock. Eventually the conversations broke off into smaller groups, George, Ron, and Harry, now talking about quidditch while Ollie listened halfheartedly, and Ginny and Hermione, who talked about work and nostalgia. Ollie didn't even notice that Fred didn't appear to be involved in either conversation until he tapped Ollie on the leg.

"So..." he began. "Levi, teach me french."

Ollie looked at him, puzzled. "You want me to teach you some french?"

"Yes, to be fair, I really just wanna learn to say dirty things." Of course "But I'll but whatever you want to teach me sounds good."

"You know you can just look up the dirty things right? Why get me to teach you?"

Fred shrugged. "I like it when you speak french." He had a sly grin on his face, but his eyes looked invested in whatever Ollie had to say.

Ollie shrugged, a slight blush on his face. "Okay then Weasley, where do you wanna start?"

"You're the teacher!! The only french I know is 'vo lay voo couch shay ave ack muah?'"

It took a second before Ollie figured out which french sentence Fred just butchered. "Oh!" he exclaimed, finally understanding the twin's gibberish. "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?"

"Yes, very much I would" Fred said with a smirk. Ollies jaw hit the ground in a slight smile, and then smacked Fred on the shoulder. Fred was known as a flirt, so Oliver didn't let himself hold on to Fred's request and dismissed it.

Ollie spent the next hour at The Leaky Cauldron teaching Fred a few basic french terms and words. By the time everyone had decided they'd take their drinking back to the twins flat, Fred had learned bonjour, bonne nuit, au revoir, oui, non, and genial. And of course, Ollie taught him tabernac, a common french swear.
