Chapter Two: Get Ready

MK POV

"Grrr! Where is it?! Oh my gosh, I can't find it!" I was busy talking to my myself while searching for my swimsuits in my closet. I don't think it will still fits on me, but still I want to find it. Maybe my friends can use it.

I heard a knock on my door.

"Who's that?" I asked not looking.

The door opens and I saw mom. "Munchkin, Lyka's here." she said.

"I'm here in my closet mom! Please let her in."

Lyka walked in. "Thanks Mrs. Rosales". My mom smiled at her and then she left."What are you doing, looking for something?" she asked curiously.

"I am finding my swimsuits. I don't know if it will still fits on me but I'll try, If not I'll buy new one."

"Well, That's why I'm here. I want you to come with me." She said while searching on my closet.

'Where?" I looked at her.

"Let's go shopping! I don't have swimsuits to wear. I want new. You know, it's been a while since we last have outing. And it seems you don't have it too" She said.

"Alright, alright. Wait, I think there it is." I said while opening a cabinet full of swimsuits.

"May I see?, Oh, It's all nice." she said while pulling royal blue colored two-piece bikini. "Can I try this one?" she said.

"Of course, But push some luck, I dont think it will fit in your bust area" I said laughing.

"It will fit I know" she said.

"Hahaha, I dont think so. How will it fit, it's size 34A, yours is 36B?" I mock her.

"Hahaha, Alright! I will not try it." she said throwing swimsuits on me.

"Wait, I think we should call others first. Perhaps they would like to join us. I know Carrie, she would like to buy new too." I suggested.

"Ok, I'll call them." She started to call all of our female friends. After a moment, she said that Carrie, Janice, Ann, Sab and Marie happily agreed. "We will meet up in Starbucks at 12".

I checked the time, we still have an hour.

"Hey, Lyka, I'll shower first. You can watch movie while waiting if you want, or you can read books. I have "The Choice" by Nicholas Sparks. It's nice. I heard they'll make it a movie next year. You can find it on my bed. I haven't finished it yet. Feel at home." I said before I left to shower.

"Ok, I'll better read it. Thanks." I heard her say.

"Mom, we'll go shopping. I'll be back later at 5pm, I'll call you if I will be late." I said.

"Sure munchkin, take care both of you."

"Thanks, mom". I kissed her.

"Lyka let's go. Where are the others?" I asked her.

"I texted Carrie, they're now on their way." She informed me.

"I'm so excited. What color of swimsuit you'd prefer?" I ask Lyka while on our way to our meeting place.

"Red or blue. I looked stunning on it. Hahaha". She said while posing like a beauty queen.

"Geez. As you say so." Hahaha "Me, I'd prefer black."

"Why black? It's summer, hello! We should wear colorful." She insisted.
