A/N~ I hope you enjoy!

You had just woken up at the crack of dawn to get ready for your job interview. You had recently moved to London as an attempt to get away from your past, mainly your creepy ex-boyfriend.

Dean was your high school sweetheart turned ex-boyfriend turned stalker. It started off small. You would find him at the same places you were but he never interacted with you, that was until you talked to someone of the opposite gender. But then things took a turn for the worst. You found him outside your window while you were changing, committing an unspeakable act that practically left you traumatized.

That ultimately lead to your sudden move to the UK and was probably the best thing that's happened to you since then. As of late, you haven't been with someone aside from the occasional one-night stands you had. But today wasn't about that, today was about getting the job.

Sinclair Bryant was the man hosting the interview and would ultimately decide whether or not you would get the job. You didn't know much about him besides the fact that he might be your future boss, depending on how well you do. Not that it would matter, you were more than qualified for the job and if anything you would most likely get it.

As you entered the tall building a man greeted you and lead you to the room where you would be interviewed. As you were being lead to the room, you admired the interior. It wasn't anything too exquisite but it definitely didn't look like the offices in the states. The bland plain offices there were nothing compared to the bright open spaces of the tall building.

Eventually the small walk came to an end, concluding the little tour. There were multiple people lined up outside of the door, waiting anxiously in their seats as you joined them. Soon enough the only person left in line was you. It's ok y/n. You got this. A man with slivering blonde hair and a clean shaved face opened the door. Holy shit.

"Are you Miss y/n l/n?"

Don't stutter. "Yes, yes I am." You said as you stood up.

"Come right in and take a seat." He said with a smile. He walked to the other side of the desk and took a seat. You walked in hesitantly, looking around the office as you made your way to the chair and sat down.

"So tell me Miss L/n, why are you applying for this job?"

"I recently moved here to London and I've had my fair share of experience working as a secretary. It states that in my resume."

"Yes I know that but you seem...overqualified for the job. Tell me, how long have you lived in London for?"

"I've lived in London for a little over a month."

"And how is it that you're paying for your flat and things of the sort if you just moved?"

"I started working when I was 16 and I've been saving since then. My parents also send money each month just in case my savings aren't enough."

"That's very considerate of them. Why did you move here, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Personal reasons. I don't feel very comfortable discussing them at the moment."

"Very well." He said with a smile. "Now, I'm going to be quite honest with you, out of all the people I've interviewed today you seem to be the most confident and straightforward. Which is ultimately what I'm looking for. Although we've only spoken for a short period of time, you seem trustworthy. So, would you like to be my new secretary?"

"Yes."
