"Ashton, you're locking up." Ashton's boss, Andrew, demanded.

"Okay, Andrew." Ashton sighed.

"It's Mr. Hemmings to you." Mr. Hemmings shook his head and got into his car, driving off on to the dirt road.

Ashton turned off all the lights of the boat marina and flicked on the fairy lights which lit up the dock. He walked down the dock in his baggy uniform, making sure no boats were detached. He turned to see a girl, sitting on the largest boat of the marina, looking out at the moon on the horizon.

"Excuse me?" Ashton asked. The girl turned, a cigarette in hand, and smiled at him.

"Unless that's your boat, which I doubt it is, can you please hop off." He whispered, he didn't know why he was though.

"Oh, this isn't my boat. It's my Dad's," she shrugged, "he's rich." It seemed as if the girl said it in despair.

"Oh, ok." Ashton nodded, "You shouldn't be out here by yourself," The girl turned, growing at Ashton under the dim fairy lights. "You never know who or what can get you."

"This town is a ghost town full of rich wannabes. I doubt anybody has the time to do such horrific things. Plus, my dads a rich lawyer. So I doubt they'd want to kill me." She laughed, taking a drag from her cigarette.

"Aren't rich girls meant to be all stubborn and full of glam. Not chilled with a cigarette and clothes that look like she got from the lost and found?" Ashton chuckled. The girl chuckled too, reaching her hand out to shake his hand.

"I'm Blair, Blair Carter. The daughter of the rich lawyer, Vincent Carter." She rolled her eyes and giggled. "And you must be Ashton."

Before Ashton could speak she cheekily pointed to his name tag, making him smile wildly.

"It's lovely to meet you," Ashton gave her a toothy smile, "lovely."
