Trudging slowly down the road, Sam had been forced to give up running a few streets down. Something was seriously wrong with the World, and without Callum he had to find out what it was alone.

Smirking, Bridgette stepped into the dirty squatter's camp. The angel had pointed her this way, and she knew she should listen to it, after all, it had never strayed her wrong before.

Slowly inching around, Bridgette kept her head up for her soon-to-be victims.

'Hello sweetie.'

She whipped her head around, to see a greasy, old man looking down at her. He was smoking.

'I ain't never seen you around these parts.'

She bat her eyelids and puckered her lips. 'I'm new.'

'Why don't you come with me then? Sweet thing like you would never survive all alone.'

Bridgette smirked. 'Okay...'

The two walked back to his place, as he dropped a cigarette on the floor, taking out another one.

'You smoke?'

She nodded, taking one. He handed her the lighter, and she took it, brushing their finger tips.

Noah took Cody's hand, leading him back to their tent. Verity was kind enough to lend it to them because they didn't have anything.

'How long do you reckon we have to live like this?' Cody asked.

'I promise not forever.' Noah ruffled his head. 'Only until Bridgette gets arrested.'

'Or killed.'

'Maybe.'

Noah and Cody approached their tent, preparing to the enter. As Cody zipped it open, a strange scent hit his nose.

'You smell that?'

Noah got up, and he looked around, making his way to the other side of the tent and around a small building, Cody heard a yell.

'Noah!'

Noah darted around the side of the tent. 'Run!' He screamed.

Cody stood frozen as the small building in front of them erupted into flames. Noah grabbed his boyfriend's hand, pulling him away from the explosion.

It must be Bridgette.

Gwen was putting Verity to bed when she heard a loud knock on the front of her camper-van.

Rolling her eyes, Gwen sighed as she opened the door, slightly shocked as Noah burst through.

'We need to go.' Noah told her, barging in to get Verity.

Verity snapped at him, yanking her arm away. 'Who do you think you are?' She yelled. 'What do you mean?'

'Fire.'

'What?'

'There's a fire. And I think I know whose behind it.'

Gwen raised a hand to her mouth. 'You don't mean?'

Noah nodded.

'Granny, trust me.' Gwen said, packing a small bag. 'We have to leave immediately.'

Verity looked between them for a moment. 'Okay.'
