A Slytherin and A Gryffindor

Daniel's POV

I was walking in the courtyard of the school with Malfoy since we both had a free period, we're just talking and laughing about potions class and how Ryder almost exploded the whole class. He's such a smart ass but, I love him anyway.  

I soon stopped and noticed Ryder hanging out with Harry, Ron and, Hermione. Ryder looked disappointed in himself. I couldn't help kinda feel sorry for him. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses.  

"Daganheart you coming" Malfoy called out to me 

"You go on ahead, I-i'll catch up later," I said making my way over to Ryder 

Malfoy shrugged and head out with Crabe and Goyle 

I looked at Ryder with a really sad expression. Apart of me really felt sorry but, why did that other half really want to laugh and call him pathetic? I shrugged it off. Seeing how helpless Ryder was. I just wanted to- 

"D-Daniel?! What are you doing here?" Ryder cut me off from my train of thought. He was crying tears were falling down his face like waterfalls. I kneeled down to him and I wiped Ryder's tears off his cheeks

Ryder grabbed my arm and soon dragged his hand onto my hand. He looked me in the eye "W-Why are you..D-Doing this..?" Ryder asked me as a tinge of red ran across his perfectly pale skin. He started to intertwine his fingers through mine

I started to blush looking into Ryder's amber-colored eyes. I felt something welling up inside me. My heart wanted to come out of my chest. It was beating so fast "R-Ryder..." 

Soon people started surrounding us. Their eyes were all on us. I broke from Ryder's gaze. I felt scared my breathing started to rise. The world started spinning around me

"Ew two boys shouldn't be ok," People said. It made me feel broke and really sad. I pulled my hand away from Ryder's cheek. The world was spinning faster and faster, silhouettes with their piercing white eyes stared into my eyes like knives through my back. I took my wand out from my robe pocket. 

I started to scream. Darkness started to take over my body. It started to go through my eye patch. My left eye started to feel different. "Sectumsempra!" I waved my wand and the spell hit the group of kids surrounding me and Ryder. 

I soon caught my breath and everything turned back to normal. I looked at the kids laying on the ground. I panted. The kids were bleeding and shaking. I panted "What have I done..?" I said and looked at my hands I was shaking 

"D-Daniel..." Ryder looked at me. He stood up and went to place his hand on my cheek. I moved

Professor Snape soon came outside and saw the many students on the ground "Who did this?" He spoke in a sincere voice. 

"It was him the Daganheart Boy!" Lavender said standing behind Snape. She called me out 

"Mr. Daganheart. You did this" Snape looked at me 

I said nothing and just ran away to the quitch grounds facing away from the castle. I sat there crying. I felt like such a fool. "I-i'm a Villian" I shouted and cried to myself. I looked at a stick I picked it up I tried to make it pointy 

"Daniel...Put it down.." I looked up it was Ryder 

"Leave me alone...I just killed a bunch of students Ryder. I'm a villain" I spoke not even looking Ryder in the eyes  

Ryder hit the stick out from my hand and picked me up and pinned me to a tree "You are not a villain. You tried to protect us both" He looked at me and started pulling the ribbon loose slowly taking my eye patch off

I grabbed hold of his arm"R-Ryder.." 

"It's ok Daniel" He spoke softly. I let his arm go and my eye patch came off hitting the grass. I looked at Ryder. My left eye was half normal and half pure black with a scar going right across it. Ryder looked at me with a slightly shocked expression but, it soon turned into a pleasant smile

"Daniel...Why do you hide such beauty" He said moving my fringe away from my eye. He placed his hand on my cheek. 

I blushed and soon placed my hand on the side of his neck. He gently moved closer to me and our lips touched. He was kissing me 

My eyes were wide. This was my first kiss ever. I started to ease my body kiss back closing my eyes. I placed my arms around his waist 

We soon pulled away. We were both blushing and we slightly giggled 

"Your lips are so soft," Ryder said placing his thumb gently on my lips 

I moved his finger away and picked up my eyepatch "I guess I feel better now Prince Charming" 

Ryder smirked a little "I'm glad my Emo Prince" Ryder placed his hand under my chin and gently pecked my lips 

I rolled my eyes with a little smirk "Let's just go back, and this is our secret" I said not joking around grabbing Ryder's tie pulling him towards 

Ryder nodded "I understand" He spoke and I let his tie go

We walked back to the castle and helped the teachers with the students I killed. Some survived and some died because of me 

"Mr. Royalty. A word with you in my classroom. Now!" Snape spoke 

"Bye Daniel" Ryder looked nervous but, followed Snape 

I looked in Ryder's direction "Snape better not do anything to him" I spoke to myself

"You won't know until you find out" The voice spoke in my head I've heard this voice before. It told me to do the Hex on the students

I listened to the voice and stayed behind Ryder and Snape keeping my distance "Do anything to him Snape I'll have your head" I whispered to myself 

The voice Chuckled "That's a good boy"
