(Y/n) sat by Starsnatch cliffs edge, the sun finally setting in the distance. The sound of grass being stepped on was added to the few birds chirping. "You made it here early, your improving." She joked, the presence of Scaramouche came, the smell of fresh stardust surrounded him gave it away.

"Very funny." The heavy sarcasm made (Y/n) laugh, a smile crept onto Scaramouche's face. He took his hat off placing it next to him when he sat down. "Why do you wear that junky hat, it's like half your size?" He looked at her confused for a minute. "It's a hat, more over it's just an article of clothing. I wear it because," he took a pause thinking about for a moment. "I don't know why, it just went along with everything else." His dark blue hair moved slightly with the wind, showing a short stoic look.

"Alright don't scream." She quickly pulled him onto her lap, hugging her from behind. He let out a small peep, his face a pale shade of rose. "Why?"

"Shush, I'm comfy." (Y/n) laid her head on Scaramouche's shoulder. He sighed patting her head, "Alright if you say so.." he quieted down, letting the sound of passing owls be heard.

The two sat in their own world, just happy to be there for what felt like minutes but was really hours. The stars shown overhead, the water below looked darker then the sky.

Scaramouche was practically asleep, barely able to keep his eyes open. (Y/n) moved carefully so that Scaramouche was laying on top of her. "Hm?" Scaramouche gratefully snuggled up into her, making her let out a quiet laugh. "Night Scaramouche." She rested her hand on his head, petting it. Scaramouche tried to stay awake but he fell asleep against his wishes.
