~Chapter 6~

Kiaras Pov

After I woke up I called Sarah and told her what happened.Everyone was planning on going on a boat ride and I was invited. We talked for about an hour before Luke came to check on me. "hey...uh how ya feelin? want me to pummel someone," he says with a sad smile on his face. "no but thank you," I reply, "would you wanna go on a boat ride with us?" I ask and he replies with a smile and nods.

We all get dressed, and I borrowed some of Rosy's clothes. We drove to the dock and met up with John B, Pope, JJ and Sarah. "oh god hes here" I say to Luke. "you'll be fine we gotcha" he says and tucks me under his arm.

While we were on the boat, I went to sit with Luke on the bow. "if you don't mind me asking," he speaks up after many minutes of silence,"why don't you just talk to him? Maybe its not what it seems. You do know that my sister sells drugs right. maybe she is his dealer?" "what?" "what do you mean?" I stand up. "ill be right back" I walk over to the other side of the boat where rosy and pope were flirting, Sarah and John B were making out, and JJ was sitting there drinking his beer with a black eye. "um...JJ can I uh...talk to you....Please?" he looks up at me and I see a sense of hope flash in his eyes. "uh yeah, yeah" he says as he puts the beer down and walks over to me, still leaving a respectable distance. "meet me on the bow in," I look down at my imaginary watch,"2 minutes" "yeah ill be there" he says as a grin takes over his face. I don't bother to smile back. I'm not getting my hopes up.

I walk back over to where Luke and I were sitting,"hey so JJ and I are gonna talk and this is the only place for privacy. So-" "yeah ill move" he says and smiles at me and I smile back.

In around 2 minutes JJ walks over to me stumbling across the deck. "uh...just sit I guess," I say patting the spot beside me," All i want right now is the truth so i will ask the questions and you will respond honestly. that's the only way this can work. can you do that?" "yes" "were you texting rosaey to come over for sex or drugs?" he looks me in the eyes and I see him visibly exhale before answering,"drugs" "okay um thank you...was it because of me?" "...I was upset because I made you upset, I was a little drunk, and trying to blow off some steam. I would've called Barry but since he's macking Rafe probably wouldn't be too good of a look if Rafe found out his least liked person Was getting drugs from his boyfriend." "why didn't you just tell me" "I figured you blocked me," he shrugs,"and I was a little scared. I knew you'd be mad at me and you'd already punched me in the face so I was gonna wait until we had both calmed down." "okay um do you have any questions?" "are things gonna go back to normal?" he says as he looks away."not quite," I reply getting prepared to tell him how I truly feel, "I still want to be with you Jay, but there can be no more drugs worse then weed, and I would like to take us-this slow." "I understand" he says. I can tell he doesn't know what he is allowed to do or isn't, So I reach my hand over to his and place my small, petite hand over his and smiles at me, and this time, I don't hesitate to smile back.

We went back to everyone else holding hands and everyone pretended like Tom Holland was here and were cheering and spilling beers.
