Chapter 5: Look and Explain

A week had passed since Taehyung last saw Jimin, and the omega felt a growing sense of unease.  Jimin's presence, his scent, usually a comforting constant in Taehyung's life, was absent.  The omega felt a pang of worry, a growing concern for his Hyung's well-being.

"We're here, Leader Kim," his butler announced, his voice a quiet murmur as they arrived at the dungeon.  Taehyung stood before the female omega, Natasha, who had claimed to be Jungkook's spouse.  She was eight months pregnant, her belly a stark reminder of the chaos she had caused.

"Leader Kim," Natasha uttered, her voice a low whisper as she knelt on the ground, her eyes cast down.

"How are you, Ms. Natasha?" Taehyung asked, his voice gentle, his gaze searching her face.

"I-I'm good," Natasha replied, biting her bottom lip, her fingers fidgeting nervously.

"I'm glad to hear that," Taehyung said, his voice firm.  "I'm here to tell you that the punishment will happen tomorrow.  If you speak the truth, I can assure you that the punishment won't be worst."

Natasha chuckled bitterly, a sound that echoed the despair in her heart.  She wiped away a stray tear before looking back at Taehyung, her eyes filled with a mixture of resignation and defiance.

"That won't do anything, Leader Kim," Natasha said, her voice laced with a bitter truth.  "The Alpha told you, he wants you to satisfy him by punishing me, and we know what that means.  It's my dead body."

"You know this will happen, but why did you do such a shameful act to him?  Why did you claim that the baby is his?" Taehyung inquired, his voice filled with a gentle curiosity.

"My mate...he was living there," Natasha said, her voice filled with a deep sadness.  "He's an alpha and a guard in the Alpha land.  We met a few times outside the land, and the last time we met, this baby was created.  I have no intention to lie, but that's the only thing I could do.

My mate suddenly rejected me without telling me the reason.  That's why I became desperate to go to the Alpha land.  I begged them to let me in and talk with my mate, but they didn't let me in.

I tried to tell them that I'm pregnant with Alpha Jeon's baby, hoping that would work, but I was wrong because the alpha was there and thought that I am a spy.

Leader Kim, I did explain to him what's my true intention, but he didn't listen to me.  I just want to see my mate and tell him that I'm pregnant.  At least for the last time...but I failed to see him.  I'm sorry, Leader Kim."  Natasha cried, her body trembling, her voice filled with a deep regret.

"But because of you, the Alpha became our enemy," Taehyung said, his voice filled with a heavy sadness.  "The peace in our land has gone just because of your malicious acts."

"I know, Leader Kim," Natasha said, her voice laced with a deep remorse.  "It was my mistake.  But please, have some mercy for my baby.  I don't care if I die, but please save my baby.  I'm the only one who should be blamed for my sin.  I'm begging you, save my baby.  Tell him, he can kill me, but not my baby."  Natasha begged, her hand reaching out, her fingers clutching Taehyung's.

"Please, don't think about dying," Taehyung replied, his voice filled with a gentle reassurance.  "I will try to help you and solve this.  I will talk to the Alpha and explain everything."  He caressed her hand, offering a glimmer of hope.

"Thank you for that, Leader Kim," Natasha said, her voice filled with a hesitant gratitude.  "But I won't raise my hopes."  She pulled her hand away, her eyes filled with a weary sadness.

Taehyung sighed in defeat, leaving Natasha in the dungeon.  He stepped out into the cool night air, his mind filled with a mixture of concern and uncertainty.

"Leader Kim, are you going home now?" the butler asked, his voice filled with a gentle concern.

"No," Taehyung replied, his voice firm.  "Please take care of the land for a while.  I'm going somewhere else."

"Are you going outside the land?" the butler asked, his voice laced with a warning.  "Alpha rogue Jimin isn't here.  It's not safe for you to go outside."

"Don't mind me," Taehyung said, his voice laced with a stubborn determination.  "I can take care of myself."  He turned and walked away, his steps purposeful.

He ventured outside the omega territory, his eyes scanning the landscape, searching for any sign of Jimin.  But the rogue's presence, his scent, was nowhere to be found.  Taehyung, his heart heavy with worry, continued to walk, his steps growing more determined with each passing moment.

He flinched, his body tensing, as he suddenly felt a presence behind him.  He knew it wasn't Jimin.  He knew his Hyung well enough to recognize his scent.  He stopped, taking a deep breath, turning around, his eyes scanning the shadows.

He gasped, his heart pounding in his chest, as he saw Alpha Jeon standing before him.  He was about to slip away, but the alpha was too quick, his hand grabbing Taehyung's waist, his grip firm and possessive.

"Wuh-what are you doing here, Alpha?" Taehyung asked, his voice trembling, his hands instinctively clutching Jungkook's shoulders.

"That's the question I was about to ask you," Jungkook replied, his voice a low rumble, his hand still resting on Taehyung's waist.  "What are you doing here alone?"

"I-I'm not alone," Taehyung lied, averting his eyes, his heart pounding in his chest.

"He's not here," Jungkook said, his voice laced with a mocking amusement.  "You know how dangerous this place is, right?  I'm sure you're not stupid."

"Mind your own business," Taehyung said, his voice laced with a defiant defiance.  He turned to leave, his steps quickening.

"Don't go to that place," Jungkook warned, his voice laced with a chilling threat.  "It's dangerous there."

But Taehyung ignored him, his determination unwavering.  He couldn't shake the feeling that Jimin was nearby, his presence a beacon in the darkness.  He continued to walk, his steps purposeful, his heart filled with a mixture of hope and apprehension.

He reached the edge of the forest, his eyes scanning the dense foliage, his senses alert.  He gasped, his breath catching in his throat, as he saw a figure moving through the trees.  He couldn't believe his eyes.  It was Jimin, his movements swift and deadly.

He watched in horror as the rogue, his eyes blazing with a savage intensity, killed a wolf with a single bite, the blood staining his fangs crimson.  Taehyung, his body trembling with fear, slowly backed away, his heart pounding in his chest.  But the rogue, his senses heightened, growled, his eyes meeting Taehyung's, causing the omega to freeze in his tracks.

"Don't touch him," Jungkook said, his voice laced with a chilling authority.  "He's mine."

The rogue, his movements halting, turned and fled, disappearing into the shadows.

"I told you, it's not safe here, didn't I?" Jungkook mocked, his voice laced with a cruel amusement.

"Thank you," Taehyung muttered, his voice barely a whisper.  He turned to leave, his steps hesitant, his heart still pounding in his chest.

He gasped, his breath catching in his throat, as Jungkook lifted him over his shoulder, his grip firm and possessive.

"Put me down!" Taehyung grumbled, his fists pounding against Jungkook's back.

"I'll bring you back to your land," Jungkook insisted, ignoring Taehyung's protests.  "You should go back."

"I told you, I will look for Hyung!" Taehyung whined, his voice laced with a desperate plea.  "Just let me go.  I know what I'm doing!"  He squirmed, his body wriggling, hoping to annoy the alpha into releasing him.

He yelped as the alpha smacked his bottom, his touch firm and playful.

"Just shut up, or else I'll fuck you here right now," Jungkook warned, his voice laced with a dangerous threat, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous glint.

Taehyung shut his mouth, his cheeks burning with embarrassment.

"See, you know how to listen," Jungkook said, his voice laced with a mocking amusement.  "Such a hard-headed omega."

"Please put me down," Taehyung mumbled, his voice filled with a mixture of embarrassment and discomfort.  "It's uncomfortable with this position."

"Okay," Jungkook replied, his voice a low chuckle.

He didn't set Taehyung down but just lowered him, like a baby clinging to someone, his grip possessive.

"No, not like this," Taehyung muttered.  "I can walk."

"It's okay, I can carry you," Jungkook said, his voice a low purr, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "We might do this often soon." He winked, his gaze lingering on Taehyung's flushed cheeks.

Taehyung, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and helplessness, snuggled his face into the crook of Jungkook's neck, his body instinctively seeking comfort in the alpha's warmth. Jungkook chuckled, the sound a low rumble against Taehyung's ear, as he heard the omega mumbling incoherent words, his voice a mix of frustration and resignation.
