Chapter 1

Sara was so pleased the mission was finally over, she didn't quite expect it to take ten years, she missed Nyssa and hadn't seen her since she had gone on the mission.

She hadn't aged a day, Rip gave them all a pill that only made them age when back in 2016. Right now all she wanted was to see her beloved again.

She found their apartment in Star City, it was just as she'd left it, except it was a bit tidier in her absence. Sara made herself comfy on the sofa and put on the TV.

Soon after she heard keys turn in the lock and got excited, then again Nyssa had probably heard the TV and was probably just about ready for anything.

Nyssa entered the room and instantly threw a knife at Sara, Sara dodged it and ran up to Nyssa, giving her a huge hug. "Habibti?" Nyssa asks.

Sara was on the verge of tears at this point. "Hey Nys." Sara says. Nyssa puts her arms around Sara and hugs her just as tight. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too, it's only been three months though beloved." Nyssa tells her.

"For you." Sara says.

"What?" Nyssa asks.

"For you it's been three months, for me it's been a lot longer." Sara explains.

"You don't look any older." Nyssa points out.

"That's because Rip gave us these pill, unless I'm in 2016 I can't age." Sara tells her.

"And, how long were you away, in your time beloved?" Nyssa asks.

Sara takes a deep breathe. "Don't be mad at me." Sara says.

"Beloved, I won't be angry with you, I promise." Nyssa reassured her.

"Okay but first I need to tell you why I was gone for so long." Sara says. Nyssa nods and let's her speak. "Basically we killed that stupid immortal guy after five months, after I got left in 1958 for two years, anyway.... we also blew up the time masters that were trying to control everyone with this weird machine called the oculus." Sara tells her.

"So it's been two and a half years for you." Nyssa guesses.

"There's still more." Sara said, trying not to look guilty but failing miserably.

"Habibti, I'm not angry with you." Nyssa reassures her.

"Then because there were no more time masters we kinda had to do their job and fix time quakes until we accidentally went to a time period we weren't supposed to." Sara explains.

"And why did you do that?" Nyssa asks, she loved hearing her beloved tell stories so they moved to the sofa and held onto one another like the other would disappear if they let go.

"Because Damien Dahrk decided it would be a great time to kidnap Einstein and his ex wife. That went terribly wrong, it ended up with Damien Dahrk, Malcom Merlin and Eobard Thawne chasing us in a submarine." Sara is stopped.

"Did you say Malcom Merlin and Damien Dahrk?" Nyssa asks.

"Yeah, do you mind if I finish, there's a lot more I need to tell you." Sara says. Nyssa nods. "Right well they hit the Waverider with an atomic bomb and we all got time scattered, I just so happened to be in a time zone they wanted to hang me for being a witch." Sara says, pouting a little.

"And why did they want to do that habibti?" Nyssa asks.

"Honestly, I have no idea, one moment I was talking with this very nice young lady, don't worry I wasn't going to sleep with her, that part of my body is restricted for your eyes only." Sara tells her.
