Zoe's POV

I sit down with my coffee, on my phone. I decided to stop by at Starbucks. My first lesson went good and I just wanted to go out for a little, since Ashton isn't back and Crystal is in lesson most of the day, so I just came back to Starbucks on my own, even though that is still boring.

The place isn't too busy, just a few students, a few adults and a family and then me, clearly. I look up hearing the door open and bite my lip noticing Ashton walk in, with a girl around our age, smaller than him, but definitely taller than me and she seems to be ranting at him and he looks irritated.

"Ellie, just shh, please" He hisses, making me bite my lip, I see her glare harshly at him and she huffs, before he orders their drinks and I refuse to look over. I can imagine her to be the jealous type and if she knew I was his roommate, it will probably kick off.

I take a sip of my coffee, leaning back against the chair and I text my friend back, trying to think of what I can do after this, I could go get my nails done, they do need doing and I look down at them. Why not treat myself.

"So when can I meet your roommate?" I then hear, making me glance to the side; where I see them sit at the table not far from me, Ashton hasn't seemed to notice me yet, which is probably for the best "I don't know Ellie, why is it so important?" He asked, as I then finish my coffee and grab my bag, deciding now is probably best to leave and I stand up, which gets Ashton's attention and he looks over.

I give him a soft smile when she isn't looking and I notice him smile back and give a small wave, making me smile again and throw my rubbish in the bin, opening the door and leaving, hearing his girlfriend ask who I was, which kind of makes me smirk.

"Ashton's girlfriend is a dick" Crystal says as she sits on my bed opposite me, turns out Ashton is one of Michael's best friends "He's been trying to break up for her for so long and he's just too nice" She adds and I frown "That's quite sad" I mumble, finishing off the subway we bought and I cross my legs.

"He made a promise to himself that he would never bring her here, so you are lucky" She chuckles, taking a sip of her drink, just as the door opens and keys get slammed down, making us both look over, seeing Ashton run a hand through his hair and we look at each other.

"Oh hi Crystal" He mumbles, when he finally looks at us and she smiles slightly at him, he's clearly stressed about something and I can take a guess it's to do with his girlfriend, I watch as he walks into the bathroom, hearing it lock a second later and we look at each other.

"He can get a little...angry at times, but he would never hurt you" She lets me know and I nod, "He's had a rough childhood and his relationship is just...you know, but he would never hurt you" She tired to explain and I nod "I'm not scared of him" I say, before we hear the toilet flush and the taps run.

"Anyways I'm gonna head back to lesson now, I'll text you" She smiles, standing up and I watch as she rushes out the room, making me shake my head and put my rubbish in the bin, just as the bathroom door opens again and he walks out, looking more calmer than he did coming in.

I check the time, seeing it's half 3 and I bite my lip, I'm bored and I can't seem to be not bored and Ashton seems to notice my distress "Wanna do some shopping?" He asks, looking through the mini fridge and see's we have nothing but water and I shrug "Sure, why not" I smile, watching as he gives me a smile in return "I'll drive?" He offers and I nod, I hate driving so it's fine.

He smiles, grabbing his wallet and phone, as I grab my stuff and follow him out the room "You better not be a crazy driver" I joke, making him chuckle and press the button on the elevator "I've been driving since 17, you'll be fine" He smiles, leading me to his car, which seems to be parked a few spots away from mine.

"How old are you?" I wonder, seeing he had an Audi which is black and very clean "I'm 21" He lets me know, as he both get in the car, which I'm not used to being in the passenger side at all "I'm 21 next month" I let him know and he smiles "Awe, you're an October baby" He teases and I chuckle, watching as he drives out of the uni's car park.

"Day before halloween, it's great actually" I chuckle, making him smile, turning his radio down slightly so we can actually chat "I'm plain boring July" He pouts and I laugh "You cancer or Leo?" I raises an eyebrow, tapping my fingers against my thigh and he starts laughing, making me pout.

"I'm a cancer" He lets me know and I hum with a chuckle, making him smile over at me, as he drives to the nearest shop, as I look out the window. It feels nice to not be the one driving and I look around his car.

His car is very clean, more clean than mine. "Before you comment, I like my car a lot, I like to keep it looked after and I can't settle if my car is dirty" He explains and I chuckle softly "I'm not judging, your car is a lot cleaner than mine" It's also better than mine.

I just have a small Ford, which is white and probably the worst colour of car for me to actually have, but it's fine and does me well.

"I'm sure it isn't that bad" He chuckles and I look at him with a small smile "I'll let you believe that" I grin as he pulls into the car park and he chuckles "I guess I'll have to see for myself" He comments and I nod.

"I guess you will" I smile.

I've wrote 3 chapters tonight and my fingers hurt, oops.
