At that moment i heard the hat yell, "HUFFLEPUFF!" The Hufflepuff table roared and I grinned wildly, I glanced over to see the twins and Lee frown slightly. I walked over and the caramel haired boy said "sit, sit here! By the way I'm Cedric, Cedric Diggory, I'm a 3rd year" "I'm y/n Smith as you probably know because of my name being screamed thought out the place." I said as I rolled my eyes. He laughed "so why are you new?" "Well my parents were strict about Hogwarts until my 3rd year so I'm glad I'm here instead of some filthy muggle school" I said as I saw two red heads come up to me. "Actually I" Cedric started to say "oh look you've got a boyfriend already?" Fred giggled, "jealous Weasley?" I grinned he blushed but then glared at me "I'm Cedric Diggory, I don't think I've seen you around even though we have been in the same year for the past 3 years!" He laughed awkwardly "Neither have I, but it's weird how you don't know us everyone does!" Fred scoffed as he rolled his eyes. "I'm George Weasley" George smiled as he raised his hand for a handshake "nice to meet you" Cedric shook his hand but quickly pulled away. Fred glared at him and Cedric glared back, "well Cedric! Better show me to the common room, right?" I pulled Cedric away "what's your problem with them?" I asked. "Y/n I could ask the same thing, I don't know what their problem is" he grabbed me "cmon' better show you the common room already" we ran through hogwarts until we got to the painting "what's this?" "The kind of secret doorway to the common room, every house has them" he answered. He opened it as we walked in and oh my god it was amazing! At that moment I knew I'd love it here.

It's been 2 months since I got sorted into Hufflepuff and it's been a dream since but there are a few things that go on. Firstly, The twins have been pranking Cedric non stop but I still hungout with them because they treated me differently I genuinely loved hanging out with them especially Fred we seemed to click. "Hey y/n what are you doing this Christmas?" Cedric questioned "I don't know I might stay here, my parents are in America for muggle vacation" "oh, maybe you could.." "stay with us at the burrow!" Fred inturpted. "I don't know I don't want to invite myself and I've known you for a month and we've only actually talked 10 times" I explained "well let's talk more!! Cmon y/n it'll be fun!" George added. "My parents don't even know I'm sorry boys I can't" "hey y/n you can come with me to my house" Cedric said with a nervous look on his face. "Well I do know you more and I'm sure my parents.." "it'll always be him then us right?" Fred scoffed "yeah! Why's it always him? Is he your boyfriend?" George rolled his eyes. "Shut it George! I'm not choosing between you guys! I've just talked to him more okay? What's the deal with you Fred?" Fred looked at me with anger in his eyes and grabbed me on the wrist "ouch! Fred stop" I howled as he squeezed me "you selfish prat" he scoffed. I gasped and pulled away "back off Fred she said stop" Cedric walked up to him, he was slightly taller but the twins were still pretty tall for our age. "What are you gonna do Diggory?" Fred grinned. "Fred Weasley don't ever talk to me again!" I said with tears in my eyes before Cedric could to anything I pulled him away with me. I looked back and saw Fred's face of regret.
