"Sam WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" my bestfriend, Mara trying to waking me up from the top of her lungs, but it's no use.
"Shut up! Just give me 5 more minutes" i pleaded but i know it won't work.
"no, you need to get up now or else don't let me do anything that you wouldn't want me to do" she told me seriously
But then, I couldn't process what Mara is trying to say until..
Splashhhh..
I was soaked with cold water.
"whAT THE HELL MARA?!" I snapped. My eyes wide and I was soaking wet. " why did you do that?"
"I warned you but you didn't listen, anyway now move!" said Mara while pushing me inside the bathroom.
"okay okay, what's with the rush?" I asked slightly annoyed.
"duh! We need to go shopping because tomorrow's Monday which means.." waiting for me to continue, but when she saw my confused expression she continued.."which means we're going back to school! Aren't you excited?" grinning at me
"you're the only one i know who's really excited on going back to school. I get it that you missed Harry but isn't he the one you're talking to every time i saw you on your phone?" as if on cue she blushed and I chuckled. She can't even deny it.
"Stop it! As if you don't miss seeing Tyler. As far as I know you really like him since our freshman year. Don't even deny it, all those daydreaming and your drooling moments when he's playing basketball and those times when we try to pe-"
"Okay stop! I get it! Okay!" also blushing."now I'm going to take a bath and you go wait downstairs okay?" smiling at her. I really love her even though we both are kind of weird.
"Yes Ma'am!" she said grinning at me and oh also saluting at me.
While taking a shower I can't help but smile at the memories that keeps on repeating in my mind. Those good times with my best friend, Mara, and with our gang (me, Mara, Andrew, Harry and Tyler) yes Tyler is in our gang.
Well me, Mara and Andrew are best friends since childhood. We grew up with each other and know each other very well. While Harry transferred to our school, Mount National High School (i know our school's name is kind a weird), when we were in 5th grade. We get along with each other because of his personality and sense of humor. While Tyler became our friend on freshman year. He's new to our school and I'm so lucky that we have the same class back then which is Geometry in which he sat next to me, and asked me to help him because he sucks in math.
I snapped back to reality when I heard Mara screaming..
"ARE YOU SLEEPING THERE AGAIN OR WHAT? YOU'RE SO SO SLOOWWW" i can here the annoyance in her tone
"alright 5 minutes!" I pleaded again
"Okay make it fast!" she exclaimed
With that i went out of the bathroom and look for something to wear, I put on a light blue jeans, white tank top, converse and cardigan. I applied some eye liner and lip gloss, I let my hair dry and put it in its natural curl. I run down the stairs and saw Mara in the kitchen eating an apple which i guess my Mom gave her.
When she heard me running, she immediately step down the counter and pulled me outside while saying goodbye to my Mom.
"Bye Amanda! We'll be back by.." she pause for a moment to think when my Mom cut her
"it's okay just be home safe kay?" smiling at her. I really admire my mother. She's the best mom I could wish for.
"alright! Bye!" she exclaimed.
"Bye Mom!" blowing her a kiss since we were already outside the door.
