☁️ Bakugou's POV ☁️

Today is the day.
Today is the day that I finally give up on trying to be the best.
Today is the day that I drop my mask.
Today is the day that I finally show them that I did, and still do, care for them.

I walked into the living room of our dorm area, being met by hateful glances. I just stayed quiet and sat on a chair in the corner, going on my phone. I could see the shocked eyes from some of the members of 1A, murmuring under their breath like I couldn't hear them. Did they really think that I was going to get mad at them for hating me? Don't worry guys, I hate myself too..

I just stayed on my phone, avoiding the eyes of everyone.

"Yo! Bakubro!" I heard a shout from behind me, and I turned to see the 'Bakusquad'. I don't understand why they'd name themselves after a good-for-nothing bastard, but I can't get them to change it, I've tried multiple times.
I just nod and turn back around. We had a day off today so people would most-likely spend time with their friends or family. I'd prefer to not have anything to do with my family after the last time I saw them, but whatever. I just got up and headed in the direction of my room.

"Hey.. Bakubro." That voice.

I spun on my heels slowly to be met by a soft smile, which then turned into a blinding smile. Gosh, he made me want to stay so bad, but I couldn't. His eyes were closed, and that smile never faltered.

I walked over to him, feeling the eyes of everyone in the room on me. I lifted my hand, and multiple gasps were heard. Did they think I was going to hit him?!
Wait...
They all gasped...
But he stayed in the exact same position? With the exact same smile...?
Does he really trust me that much...?

He opened his eyes to see me, and smiled even wider (if that's possible). I let out a chuckle and did a soft smile, ruffling his hair and turning back around, continuing to head to my room.

I heard so many whispers around the room, but none of those voices were those of the Bakusquad. They weren't surprised at all.
They've always believed in me, and somehow they can see the good in me.
I felt an arm around my shoulder and I tensed up.
Oh, it's just Mina.

"Hey Bakugou! We're gonna come and hang out with you and you can't tell us no because we won't listen anyways!"

I was about to complain until I saw that familiar smile from a certain shark-lover, all I could do was nod and continue on my way, them following me like lost puppies.

They truly were special.
