After twenty minutes Dan rolled his eyes at his blemished reflection. His eyes wore puffy poisonous bags of dullness. His cheeks decorated in faint waterfall tracks that led down his neck. Not bothering to wash up he rushed to go find Phil. His feet weak weighing him down with each pounding step he took. His heart ticking loudly as his legs buckled sending him crashing to the floor. He accepted his fall and laid further motionless except for the small shakes that vibrated his frame. "I-it hurts. It hurts so badly!" His voice screeched against the dusty floor. He felt a pair of arms pull him up silently as they hummed a tune. Music. It sounded like music to Dan. His cries ceased as they dissolved into short breathy hiccups. "We still have time. I have thirty days and well after that-" Dan nodded before Phil could finish the sentence. "I know how it is Phil. I know what it's like. I lost a friend who died heartbroken. We were close and now he's gone because the person he confessed to shut him down. They stopped talking to him and he died after the thirty days. No one was there to get him help. He died cold, alone, and heartbroken." Dan sighed at the memory pushing away the new wave of tears that taunted the rims of his eyelids.

"Phil"

"Yeah Dan?"

"I can't love someone I know almost nothing about. I can't force myself to love and commit to you. You aren't my life line. You never were and I hope it stays that way." Dan wiggled from Phil's embrace turning away.

"Please attempt to unlove me." And with that he walked away.
