Chapter Eight

Hyewon stumbled down on the floor while trying her best to get away from Yuri. They're still inside the room and Yuri, is slowly getting rogue "Yuri" she tried calling out Yuri responded, but her eyes are lifeless and she doesn't recognize her anymore. She went to the door and immediately fled the room with Yuri, chasing after her. Skled is a pretty small craft and there's nothing left to do but to run and hide but, that doesn't mean that she can't fight.

She entered the storage room and hid behind the crates and boxes. Hyewon took her tablet out and she got 15 seconds till Yuri's cooldown is over. She tried to look for anything that could help her protect herself inside the room, until she saw the fire extinguisher near the door. Hyewon rolled over to the entrance and used her elbow to break the glass, the shatter got Yuri's attention and she immediately went to the source. The cool down is over and it's now or never for Hyewon.

"Hyewon!" Yuri called as she let the knife's blade glide through the metal walls. Hyewon shut her eyes close upon hearing the footsteps near her, she gripped the extinguisher tighter, bracing herself.

Once she saw Yuri's shadow block the lights, she started counting down.

1...

Hyewon emerged from her hiding spot, ready to smash Yuri on the head.

"Wait! Hyewon unnie!"

"What the... Kim Chaewon?!"

Chaewon signaled her to keep quiet before the two of them went inside the storage room again. They sat side by side, panting "How come you're still alive? You were ejected".

Chaewon chuckled "I knew it was coming so long before that voting, I took some ropes from here inside the storage and a metal hook. Once I was kicked out of the craft, I pulled myself back inside and stayed under the compartment".

"So smart, Chaewon" she spoke whilw patting her shoulders "So it was Yuri? Along with Nako and Yujin?".

Hyewon nodded "Yeah and I couldn't believe it as well" she trailed and there was a bitter smile on her face, remembering those times when her friends died one by one infront of her. Especially, Minju.

"I just hope we can win this, Chaewon. I just wanna go home" Hyewon's lips quivered and her tears kept running down her cheeks. The younger hugged her tight "We'll get through this, unnie" Chaewon said against her neck "If you make it out alive".

"What?".

Hyewon pushed Chaewon away and saw how she changed herself to Yuri. The intercom inside the craft turned on and the host's laughter echoed "I thought you were the smartest kid in your group? I guess I was wrong, huh?".

"What the fuck did you do to Chaewon?!".

"She's dead, obviously. And as a host, I can do whatever the heck I want in this game and that means, I can clone whoever I want" Hyewon wiped her tears as she slowly stood up "Yuri! Kill her!".

Yuri obeyed the orders as she jump towards Hyewon. The two of them landed on the floor with the impostor on top, Hyewon held her wrist to stop her attempts to stab her. Yuri has this insane strength, making Hyewon groan before kicking her off of her.

Yuri fell with a loud thud and Hyewon took this chance to ran out of the storage "Hyewon!" Yuri took the knife angrily on the floor before running after her.

Hyewon found herself cornered inside the cafeteria. Running away won't solve anything and besides, she got nowhere to hide inside Skled.

Once she heard that Yuri is there, she grab the nearest chair and threw it to her direction. Yuri dodged it with a sly smirk on her face "You're a no match to me" she said, taunting her "Just surrender so you can be with Minju".

Hyewon curled her hands into a fist as she stared at Yuri who is also crying infront of her. Yuri scoffed, she wiped her tears and pointed the knife towards her "Up until the end it's still Minju?" she asked "You're blind aren't you?".

"Yuri".

"I love you, Hyewon! But all you did was to choose that stupid frog over me!" Yuri at that time is already wailing.

"Yuri" she called out hopefully to console the girl "I'm so sorry but, I couldn't betray both Minju and my bestfriend. I love you too but, I can only see you as my little sister and nothing more".

Yuri is already kneeling on the floor, her whole body is shaking as she tightened her grip on the knife. Yuri slowly stood up, sniffing as she wipe her tears using the back of her hand "If that's the case then" she trailed and the moment she lifted her head, Hyewon couldn't believe her eyes when she saw a pair of bright red irises infront of her.

"I will kill you!".

Yuri didn't waste any time as she jump towards Hyewon. The older immediately ran away to dodge the attack, her action made the raging impostor more agitated.

"Yul! Don't do this!" She pleaded before landing a punch on Yuri's face. Hyewon doesn't want to hurt her but, she needed to defend herself "Oh God, Yena sorry for hurting your girl" she mumbled before kicking Yuri on the stomach, sending the girl to the ground with a loud thud.

Groaning, Yuri used her strength to stand up while glaring at Hyewon.

"Yuri please" she pleaded "Let's stop this!".

The impostor shook her head "You should die!".

Yuri was able to tackle Hyewon down making her on top. She lost her grip on her knife, sending it a few inches away from them. Yuri straddled on Hyewon, strangling the girl under.

Hyewon gasp for air as she desperately held on Yuri's wrist. She was writhing under her but no matter how much she struggles, Yuri's grip was persistent.

Her vision is starting to get blurry, her grip on Yuri's wrist is starting to loosen. She could already see Minju's faint figure above her "M-Minju" she mumbled "Wait for me" that was the last thing she uttered before she completely ran out of breath.

When Yuri noticed that Hyewon wasn't fighting back anymore, a grin was plastered on her face as she got off of her. She took the knife on the side and stab Hyewon repeatedly on the chest to make sure she's dead "I won!" She yelled happily but she keeps on stabbing Hyewon's body.

Victory

Blue, Black, and Orange.

Yuri stood up, her clothes are completely drench with Hyewon's blood. She's finally going home.

But Yuri, has other plans when she slowly turn to face the camera "This should stop" she spoke, tears are streaming down her cheeks as she remove the pin from the explosive she saw inside weapons "I won't let you have other victims to play with".

"Stop! No!"

"Crewmates win" Yuri spoke before dropping the bomb down, causing for the whole spaceship to explode leaving non of them alive.
