Lumine POV

I ran in my human form as fast as I could away from where I saw kody, it was about 3 hours since our last encounter. But while I was lost in thought I looked down and mistook a small rock for a large one and jumped extremely high and hit the floor with a thud, I couldent see anything but i could hear but everything was fuzzy. I could hear everything around me despite not hearing perfectly, it seemed like everything was out to get me. I then heard a familiar voice and leaves brushing to the side. "Lumine!" Someone yelled as I heard them stop beside me and attempt to pick me up. I didnt have full control of my senses and I clumsily and slowly tried to counter them but it turned out to just turn out as a pitiful pat as I fell unconscious.

I awoke in a cool room on the sofa with an ice pack on my head and familiar faces all around me. I then realized what had happend when I saw the tv behind them on the weather channel. A massive heat wave had burst in and a few people actually died from the shock in the severe change, many more were hospitalized. Kody had been sent out to find me since aiden had a bad feeling and kody went out with alot of ice packs to help the people he found or trapped outside that could get heat stroke. Out of luck kody came across lumine and carried him back home since paramedics were able to help the rest of the town. Kody ran into the house screaming for aiden and when he came running downstairs lumine was pale and hand an arm slung around Kody's shoulder and head leaned on his other. Aiden looked in severe worry and helped kody lay him down on the couch, "and that's what happend" kody said with a sigh "thank you kody I appreciate shat you have done for me" lumine said sweetly. "No problem" kody said firmly but yet unsure of who knows what, "I better get going then, thanks guy-" lumine was cut off by aiden blocking the door "I'm sorry lumine but we cannot let you go outside due to the heat and your- troubles" aiden said calmly but unsure how lumine was going to take that. Lumine then clicked on what aiden said and instantly knew what it ment, he calmly walked over to kody and rested his hand on his shoulder firmly. "Did you tell them" he whispered accusingly making kody very nervous since he had no idea how aiden knew. "Wha- nonono NO I- uhhh h-how ummm-" kody stammerd hesitantly at each word, "lumime calm down will you- I had a feeling you were one, giving your speed agility and strength" aiden sighed "first off how do you know about my strength- second off I'm sorry kody" lumine said with question and sincerety. "I know about your strength because you- did a number on kody's skull the first time you two met but it took a while for the true effect to show- second you are one if not the quickest runners in this town and that takes alot of leg strength" aiden explained "other people just dont notice or bother to notice" aiden said.

"Well I guess that makes scence" lumime said with a troubled face as he took his hand off of kody's shoulder and apologized "your fine- but next time calm down" kody laughed. Lumine laughed as well- nervously, but then when he looked over at Aiden lumime decided to sit down on the couch. "Lumine- we understand that your a werewolf and were not going to hurt you. So I wanted to ask you if you wanted to stay with us for as long as you like giving you don't have a home of your own." Aiden said happily "wha- sir I'd love that but wouldn't I be a burden around here?" Lumime stuttered. "Nahhhh we have a were dog and 4 witches!" Aiden exclaimed.

"Dad I'm not a witch..." kody snapped
"Nonsense!" Aiden said while he ruffled kody's hair, "now come along lumime! I will show you where you'll sleep!" Aiden said happily as he walked down the hallway and lumime trailing

"Hey sherry- silver." Kody said. "Yea kody?" They both said in unison,
"This is gonna be a shit sho-"
"LANGUAGE!!!

Ok this is done- wow ok XD btw I should problably mention- in this story that's how quick the weather can change XD I should know- anyway I hope you enjoyed- ((I hope the author of lumine gets back soon ;-;))
