A NEW STRAND

Lumine POV

Lumine ran as fast as he could in the crowd of people but to almost no avail, he wonders why there were so many people to begin with. He shuffled his way through the shuffling shoes and tense jackets and finally found an open area to take a break. He see's an open path through the crowd and makes a dash for it but then is knocked over half way through. "S-sorry! My bad!" He says frantically. Lumine then looks across from his after moving his hair out of the way and sees a boy about his height with raven black hair and emerald green eyes. He then noticed the red area on the other boys fore head and felt a pain in his own.

  "Oh I'm sorry let me help you up."
"Ummmm, thanks?" The boy said cautiously. "Do you want to borrow my ice pack?" He usually kept one since it was summer and you never know when a heat wave will come so you always have to be prepared. "Um I'm fine but who are you?" The raven boy said curiously "I'm Lumine! What's your name?" Lumine said enthusiasticly. "Kody, I guess its nice to meet you?" kody tensed as the conversation needed a new topic. "Oh shoot! I'm going to be late! C ya later kody I got to go!" Lumine said trailing off.

   Kody's POV

   As lumine ran off he wondered what he was in such a hurry for but he had to get back home before dark. He ran back and once he reached the house he opened the door to find Aiden and sherry. "What happens to you!? Are you okay?!" Aiden said frantically as he inspected the redness on his fore head. "Oh that's why he offered me the ice pack" kody mumbled. "Who whada what now?" Adien said curiously. "Some kid named lumine- he ran into me and then he ran away after offering me an ice pack. I guess this is why" pointing to his fore head.
  "Well then" Aiden sighed "off to bed you go, you have school tomorrow." Kody groaned and stumbled up the stairs realizing how tired he was as he flopped onto his bed. He hadn't realized he fell asleep until he awoke in a dream. There was a large wolf with icey eyes with a yellow blotch on one of them and he can't remember where he has seen that eye color. He awoke when a large guest of wind tossed him off the cliff he was standing on, but he didn't know it was there. It seemed to pop out of no where but he awoke with a start. He felt his cheat to make sure he was still alive because the fall felt so real. But alas he was still breathing and he flopped down onto his pillow and tried to fall asleep but his alarm went off as soon as he did.

(I hate that)

   He walked down the stairs and smelled waffles as he sat down at the table. He scarfed them down as he got on his socks, shoes, etc. He then headed out the door after saying his goodbyes and headed for school.
