Draco leaned back against a tree, looking out at the setting sun behind the black lake. He didn't remember how he got there, or what he was doing, but he didn't mind. In this moment, it felt right. Being here, feeling the warmth of the sun on his face, hearing the steady sounds of the waves.

It comforted him.

A figure walked past him. She had wavy, dark brown hair that fell down her back like silk on a pillow. She walked into the water, the sun accentuating every step, every crevice of her body. Her white blouse hung out of her skirt, which wafted to the side as the wind blew a little harder, and her shoes hung on her fingertips.

And her skin, oh Merlin her skin. It seemed to shimmer in the fading light, and he longed to trail his fingers along it, longed to explore every inch of her captivatingly gorgeous body.

And then, she spoke his name. So softly, so gently, that the boy had almost missed it.

Draco stood up, making his way to the girl , so as not to startle her. She had enchanted him with her words, her body. If only he could see her face.

Draco shot up in his bed, a cold sweat breaking out on his forehead. He remembered his dream vividly. He had been so close, so close to seeing her face and discovering the girls identity. He'd been having the same dream for weeks, and it was driving him mad.

He sighed, pushing the silk green covers off of himself. He made his way through the hallways of Malfoy Manor, to his Mothers room. He was glad Lucius was in Azkaban, though he wouldn't admit it to anyone but his Aunt and his Mother.

He came to a halt in front of the portrait of Helena Ravenclaw. "Chrysanthemum." He stated loudly. His Mothers favorite flower.

The portrait swung open, and Draco walked up the few steps into the room. It was circular, with a bathroom included to the side. He had made it as a secret sanctuary for his mother with Bellatrix after Lucius went to prison.

Narcissa was sat beside the window. The room was concealed from the outside, so should anyone happen to walk by, they wouldn't notice the skinny blonde. She was reading a muggle romance novel. A take on what her marriage could've been if Lucius actually loved her.

She turned towards him, a soft smile on her face. "What's wrong, my Dragon? Can't sleep?" She places a green ribbon in her book, standing up and making her way to her son.

"What are you doing up? It's late, Mum." Draco states, guiding his mother towards the large bed in the center of the room. Her bony hand reaches up to cup his cheek.

"You're right, Draco, but don't start changing the subject. What's wrong?"

He sighs, sitting next to her on the bed. "I had a strange dream."

She cards her fingers through his hair. "Do you know what they say about dreams?"

Draco turns to her, curiosity sparkling in his eyes. "Sometimes, that's all they are. Dreams."

"And other times?"

"They say that dreams are the realities that will soon be given to us."
