the PROPHECY (Short Story-COMPLETED)

Chapter 3

I am so damn nervous as I walked towards the door and opened it. I am blushing, I can feel it. Dean was there, standing infront of me wearing a casual attire; matched my casual pink dress.

"You look nice. Let's go?" he asked as he held my hand and dragged me to the garage.

"Saan tayo pupunta? I asked. I am nervous. Seriously. Nandito na kami sa loob ng car nya.

"Trust me on this. You'll like it there."he answered as he took a glimpse in the backseat.

I looked into the direction his eyes are at and I saw a picnic box. He started to drive and still, no one's talking. All you hear is the sound of the soft music playing in his stereo.

"Are you okay? Its gonna be a long drive. Do you want to sleep?" he asked.

"Nah, I'm fine. Its just that, di ko lang maisip na you are taking me somewhere. Its like been what? Uh, 13 years? "

He laughed.

"What's funny?"I hissed. Did I just sounded pathetic in my last statement?

"Now you're being damn serious. Just take a nap okay?" he sounded really concerned.

Kinikilig nanaman ako to the highest level. Dream come true na ito? I hope so. :) I nodded then I took a nap.

"Bielle, wake up! Were here." someone's tapping my shoulder.

I gently opened my eyes and unbuckled the seatbelt.

"Where are we?" I asked as I looked around.

"Haven's Resort." he answered calmly. He smiled sfter saying that.

We jumped out in the car and headed to the entrance. He spoke with one of the flirty looking receptionists and then were good. May isang tent sa beachfront at may bonfire.

I am really amazed sa place na ito. Walang mga cottage rooms or what, puro iba't ibang tents. Ang ganda, sobrang relaxing.

Pumasok ako sa tent, may isang malapad na foam sa loob ng compartment, sa labas naman ay isang thermos, yung picnic box na dala namin at isang first aid kit. Lumabas ako ng tent and I found him sitting near the bonfire with lots of sticked mallows and beer bottles sa tabi nya.

"Sit here. " he told me as he tapped the left side of the mat he's in.

Lumapit naman ako. Nagkwentuhan kami at kumain. I tried to be very funny, yung totoong ako. I read in a book before that when a guy sees the real you, he'll fall in love with you. Its always better to be yourself.

"And you know Tarah? That girl is very weird. Kumakain ba naman sya ng saging dipped in nutella na nilalagyan nya ng mayonaise? Shocks!"

"Baka naman talagang paborito nya?" he said laughing.

"Oo. Kaya nga kapag nandun sya sa bahay, nadidiri ako saknya, minsan tinatago ko na lang yung nutella."

"Parehas pala sila ni Casey eh. Mga mahilig sa nutella." he answered.

"Ah." I answered. Di ko namalayan pero feeling ko nalungkot talaga ako.

"Anong problema?"

"Uh..wala." I inhaled deeply. "Kumusta na pala kayo ni Casey?" I asked.

"Okay naman. Medyo okay na rin sya, after the break-up eh talagang nasaktan sya ng todo. "

"Bakit kayo nagbreak?" Parang natuwa pa ako sa pagkakatanong ko.

"Kami?"

"Oo, diba girlfriend mo sya?" I asked. Naka-kunit ang noo habang ngumunguya ng mallows.

"No. He's my bestfriend." he answered. Pinigilan ko talagang hindi mapangiti nyng narinig ko yun. Oh em gee. All this time?

"Yung ano, yung sa kotse mo dati, yung a-a-no." shit, bakit di ko masabi?

"Yung bra?" he asked. I exhaled. "Tje night that they broke up, lasing na lasing sya. Naisip kong dalhin sya sa hotel or something. Kaya lang sabi ni Cherry, yung kaibigan nya, bihisan na lang daw muna sya kasi puro suka na yung damit nya. Dun sya binihisan ni Cherry sa kotse ko."

Parang napahiya ako ng sobra sa narinig ko. Tumahimik na lang ako. Ang sama ko. Sino ako para i-judge ng ganun si Casey? Hay, naguguilty tuloy ako. I'm sure si Tarah din kapag nalaman nya to.

"Uh, that guy who gives you flowers.."

"Uh, walang kami nun. Di ko nga sya kilala eh. Di ko pa nga sya nakikita." I interrupted. Baka mamaya isipin nya naman na kinikilig kilig ako dun. Paminsan minsan lang naman.

"Its me." he answered.

Parang tumayo lahat ng balahibo ko sa katawan nung narinig ko yun. Oh em gee. Sya yun? Bakit hindi sya nagpakilala? Pero grabe, ang saya ko. My heart is pounding so damn fast because of joy.

"Bakit hindi mo sinabi?" I looked at him deeply. "Tsaka nung Valentine's Day..hindi ka dumating."

"You'll know soon. But one thing I want to let you know, the ILOVEYOU's on the cards, those are true." he answered as he looked at me deeply in return.

"I love you too." Yun lang ang nasabi ko. Parang birthday ko ngayon, iba ang saya. Iba ang kilig. Iba ang contentment. Iba talaga lahat. He kissed me gently in my lips. Passionate kisses. I kissed him back. Mas malalim, mas may feelings. Dati iniimagine ko lang yun, ngayon totoo na. Matagal yung pagkikiss namin. He stopped and looked at me, magkadikit yung ulo namin as he held my face.

"I love you Bielle." he said and hugged me tight. Oh, this is the best feeling ever.

I'm sorry sa sobrang tagal na UD. Been busy sa ibang kung ano-ano sa buhay. Next chapter na ang finale and after is an Epilogue. :)
