Chapter 3

Time skip to Sept. 1st bcoz i can 😌💅~

Your POV

I boarded the train early, eagerly looking through compartments to see if i could find some of my friends.

Somewhere near the end, I found my brother and his friend's compartment, they invited me to sit, but i could see they were doing it just because Draco was there. I politely declined.

I walked through, and finally found Harry, Hermione and Ron. I exchanged hugs with all of them and sat next to Hermione.

"So...how was your summer?"
Hermione asked, trying to get some conversation.

"Oh, it was uneventful, really." I said.

I think they remembered that my father had gone to Azkaban the same summer, and the atmosphere had become tense.

"Er, did you hear about Cedric Diggory?"
I asked.

"What?" Said Harry.

"The news about him."

"No," the trio replied genuinely.

"Here, it's in the prophet" I say, handing them the news.

Cedric Diggory, Hogwarts Champion, Back from death?

During the Triwizard tournament held two years prior, Mr. Diggory suffered a tragic death, but, wasn't considered fully dead.

According to St. Mungo's, he was only in a magical coma, and awoke now for some reason unknown.

Some experiments in the Department of Mysteries show little evidence on magical comas, and the only thing they know is that the person's age is retained as they are unconscious.

He will be going back to Hogwarts this year, to finish his education.

"Woah," said Ron.

Harry was still contemplating the article, until a letter came for him.

"Who is it from Harry?" Asked Hermione and Ron.

"It's from Slughorn"

"The guy who you and Dumbledore visited?" Asked Hermione.

"Yeah, it said I come down to his compartment."

"Hold on, am I missing something?"

"Don't worry, we'll tell you while Harry leaves." Said Ron.

"Thanks Ron" you smile.

Harry takes his leave.

Ron and Hermione fill you in on what happened in Harry's summer, and you exchange stories about this and that.

"Ron, don't we have prefect duties?"

"Oh yeah we do! Uh, Y/N, are you going to stay here, or what?"

"Uh, maybe i can check in on my brother?"

"That's alright" says Hermione.

"Okay, I'll go on then" you said, trying to force a smile.

You leave the compartment and go up the aisle, Ron and Hermione exiting the compartment as well.

Didn't have time to edit this, my sched is kinda limited, so sorry, 😅, I almost put this book on hiatus but i found a bit of time to write this chappie ☺️
