Background: When the kids tried to escape, the demons proposed an offer where they would let the rest of them escape if they could take Emma. Emma immediately agreed to ensure safety among the rest and it was a heartbreaking goodbye between all of them. They forced Emma to be a mom and the rest of the kids that escaped found out and are trying to save Emma from the orphanage. Normans with them too.

10 years. It's been 10 years since they escaped. Since i've been forced to lead children to their death. Mama became the grandma because the old grandma was shipped for not keeping mama Isabella under control.

More importantly, it's been 10 years since I was able to speak to or even look at my siblings. I missed all of them too much. Especially Ray, Gilda, and Don. My best friends.

"Mom!" A happy voice called. As the mom of this house, I was able to name the children when they came here. Her name was Valerie. "Come play chess with me!"

I smiled at the pink haired girl. Strawberry blonde hair. Blue eyes. Beautiful girl. I had a strong bond with Norma. I picked her up and tickled her. That laugh. I would miss it forever.

Higher-ups have informed me that the next shipment has been set for tomorrow. And Valerie was the shipment.

I didn't want to ship Valerie (none of them), but I had no choice. I had replaced Grandma Isabella after her other replacement had a heart attack (she couldn't deal with the kids).

Valerie was 11. Had she averaged just a little higher on her tests, she could've survived another year. I'm sorry Valerie.

I took Valerie outside to play at the chess set up when the alarm went off. A memory of 15 kids running on a wall flashed into my mind. Something was off.

"Attention all employees! We need all hands on deck. There are intruders. Do everything to protect your plant."

I ushered everyone into the bedrooms. I turned off the lights and went outside. It was broad daylight, who would be stupid enough to pull an invasion at this time of day.

I ran outside to check the perimeter, bringing the electrical stick the plant gave me just in case of weapons.

The most obvious place to break in would be the wall, if they wanted to hold the plant and sustain an food protection shield. Which is what the enemy thought. They most likely came from the tunnel passage.

I rushed to the tunnel passage when I saw a small gas stain in the grass. I knelt down to inspect it- not hearing the many footsteps behind me.

"E-Emma?!" No. It couldn't be. The one voice I never thought i'd hear again. I froze. But I stood up. Scared, I turned around.

My mouth most likely physically dropped. Ray. Gilda. Don. Nat. Anna. Yvette. Eugene. Chris. Lannion. Thoma. Alicia. Dominic. Jemima. But how...Norman. How was he there?

"I-Is it really her?" Chris sobbed. Tears flooded my eyes. I ran straight into them as they dropped their guns and Ray sprinted in for a hug.

"I-We-We thought you were dead Emma." He said, his voice shaking. I hugged him as tight as I could. The rest of the children charged at me for a hug. They knocked me over and we sort've just sat there hugging and crying.

"I-I didn't want to be a mom but they said they would-"

"It's okay." I finally looked over, and Norman was standing there- shedding a few tears. And I finally let it out. A waterfall of tears. I jumped into his arms as he embraced me tightly.

"I-I thought you died Norman!" I cried, hugging him tighter. The amount of times I dreamed of a world where Norman was alive were countless.

   "It doesn't matter. I'm glad you're alive."
