Chapter 1 : The Beginning

TORD'S POV :

I heard the birds chirping outside, it's very early, it's been awhile since I got up this early, hmm.

I contemplate if I should stay in bed for a few more minutes or force myself up now, but I'm extremely exhausted, only 5 hours of sleep, crap.

I decide I should get up since I might fall back to sleep, which would be embarrassing..

I started walking to my closet, since I'm only wearing a tank top and my boxer briefs.

Hmm, I wonder if I should wear something a bit different, since I always wear my combat boots, tight leggings and a sweater.

Something catches my eye, a black crop top, red medium rise shorts, and my cape. I really like the cape, it isn't very heavy, and it keeps me decently warm in the winter.

The weather is starting to get a bit chilly, I guess it's fall, *sigh*, I hate winter, and fall is an indication that winter's coming near.

I pull off my sleep tank top, and grab the black crop top, and slip my head and arms through, ooh, this is comfy!!

As I start pulling off my boxer briefs to change them, I realize something's wrong..

I quickly pull them back on, and rush to my mirror...

HOLY SHIT!! I HAVE A TAIL???

I stare in surprise, what??? How and why???

Questions keep rushing through my head, "Why do I have this?" "How did it get here, it wasn't here yesterday?" "Does this mean something?"

But one ultimate question keeps rushing through my head.

"How do I hide this from other people??!" The tail is extremely long, like, about one meter and a half, there is no way I will be able to comfortably hide this thing, what?

The tail is surely attached, I feel everything it touches, to be honest, I actually kind of like it, I can be more aware of my surroundings with it.

The color of the tail is black, almost pitch black, I don't know, but I can't see any highlights, it's like it's eating up the light. At the tip of the tail, it has this triangle like shape, one really deformed triangle, the tip has an extremely thin tip, and that tip runs down a bit and has another whip thin tip, but less sharp and long, the other end runs into another whip thin tip,but it's really short compared to the other tips.

Also, it has four sharp thin triangle-like shapes running down the middle of my tail, weird.

20 MINUTES LATER :

I have changed my whole outfit, I don't get why I don't where these clothes as often, their comfortable as hell!!

I look over at the desk in my room, and there is a warm yellow shiny triangle shaped pendant, where did this come from?

The pendant is glowing, like a beautiful gem, the light is very mesmerizing, huh? Why is it glowing? Also, I don't remember owning something like this before, I decide I should take it with me just in case.

But where do I put it?

I put on my cape, and I'm carrying the pendant in the palm of my left hand, and then an amazing idea strikes me!!

I melt a little bit of the gem by placing it near my fireplace, and stick the melted side into a clip, and then waited for it to dry.

I sewed the clip to my cape, there!! My own little pendant :DD

This design looks pretty lit!! I'm glad I thought of it :00

I open the door wide, and in pours a extremely bright white light..
