"LEO VALDEZ! YOU GET YOUR ASS HERE!" Annabeth's voice nearly made me fall out the tree I was hiding in. "WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"Annabeth, come on," Piper tried to reason with her "it was only a metal one,"

"I don't care! It was a spider and LEO IS SO GOING TO GET IT," she glared at the brunnete and paced around the cabins looking for me. Annabeth slipped into the Hephaestus cabin and I sighed trying to find a different place to hide. Naturally, the tree had to be uncomfortable, especially the branch I was sitting on.

If you're wondering why your Mcshizzle man is hiding in a tree, it's a complicated story. And pus, you can't expect your hero to be brave all the time. Especially not when you anger someone called Annabeth Chase. 

 It was early morning and the sound of Buford's morning dance routine woke me up. What? Even tables need to stay fit. How else are they gonna attract other tables? I got up and went outside to be greeted with the side of Chiron with curlers in his tail. I had to include that. 

Anyway, fast forward to after breakfast when me, Piper, Jason, the Stolls and Katie were playing truth and dare. We had invited Annabeth also, but she declined saying that she needed to talk to someone called Magnus. 

"So Leo, truth or dare?" Connor Stoll smirked. I was tempted to say truth, but I couldn't, because they would definetely ask about my love life, which would mean bringing up a certain someone who shall remain unknown. 

"Dare," I replied cracking my knuckles. 

"I dare you to tell us who-" Connor was cut short as Travis pulled him aside and whispered something into his ear. I made a mental note to thank Travis, as I could avoid the question. 

"Ok," Connor had a bigger smirk on his face "I dare you to go put a metal spider on Annabeth's head," 

I paled, and striked off the note about thanking Travis. "Travis!" Katie Gardener smacked her boyfriend's arm disapproving of the dare. Piper and Jason were looking at me as if it was my funeral, and I couldn't blame them. Pranking Annabeth was as safe as tickling a sleeping dragon. 

I forced a smug smile onto my pretty face and got up, searching my tool bag for the metal spider that I had made a few months ago. After finding it, I looked at Travis who nodded at me and motioned me to continue.

Muttering a prayer to every god alive, I set out to my death.

"Holy Hades! Neeks, are you sure this is safe?!" a familiar voice whispered frantically, causing me to jump 3 feet in the air. 

"Oh, calm down Will," Nico Di Angelo scoffed "You wanted someplace private-" he turned around and spotted me. 

"Oh, don't mind me," I waved them on to continue "I'll just be sitting here, like an inanimate object,"

"What on earth are you doing here?" Nico narrowed his eyes at me.

"Neeks, um-" Will started. 

"What are you doing here?" I raised an eyebrow and crossed my arms. 

"Um, guys," Will tried to interrupt. 

"That's not the point, Valdez. Answer the question first." Nico glared at me. 

"Oh god! Will someone-" Solace tried again. 

"Oh, are you and lover boy here to smooch?" I grinned smugly causing Nico to turn a bright shade of red.

"Leo Valdez, I swear to-" he stated trying to cool himself down.

"HOLY HADES! WILL BOTH OF YOU LISTEN TO ME?" Will shouted. Both of us snapped our heads towards him. 

"What?" Nico glared at him. 

"You both were so busy arguing, that you didn't realize that perhaps the whole camp is staring at us, and this branch is about to break!" Will hissed. 

Sure enough, when I looked down from the branch I could see Annabeth glaring at me, challenging me to get down. I gulped and looked at the Stolls who were busy shooting this with two different cameras. I could hear Travis say "Look at Leo Valdez, Nico Di Angelo and Will Solace up in the tree! What were they doing? Find out after a quick break bought to you by Hephaestus Tv." 

I cursed under my breath. Why on earth did I agree to make a channel for the demigods on Hephaestus TV? And most importantly, why did I set up the cables for this channel in Camp Jupiter? 

I turned around to see Will and Nico in a staring challenge, both of them challenging the other to look away. I tried to get down without falling but the gods really had it for me. I accidentely placed my leg on a smaller branch and it gave away, dropping to the ground. Unfortunately, I lost my balance so I had to cling on to the branch where I was previously sitting on. If that wasn't terrible enough, the branch broke loose.

Before I knew it, I was on the ground with a son of Hades and another son of Apollo on top pf me. I groaned as Travis started filming live again. Great, an audience for my embarresment. The second time. 

"LEO VALDEZ!" the angry daughter of Athena marched up to me. "What on earth were you thinking?" her voice was silent but deadly. 

"Sorry?" I said weakly. To my surprise, she just sighed. Maybe, this was her way of showing our friendship. Or maybe, she thought that the fall and public embarrasment was enough. Anyway, I was glad that she didn't kill me. Dying would seriously suck. 

"I would love to kill you, but unforunately Chiron is calling you three dimwits to the  big house," she informed us, walking towards the building with the three of us in tow.
