Chapter 7

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐨 𝐏𝐎𝐕

Once we got to the classroom I just sat in my seat deep in my thoughts.

I guess she doesn't like me the same way... I guess I'll try being with Sakura to get over her.

"Hey~ so what are you gonna wear to the dance." it was Sakura.

"Uh I was just gonna wear black pants and a button up shirt."

"Oh okay." she said and walked back to her seat.

I wasn't really able to pay attention during class, so I decided to have lunch on the roof alone to sort out my thoughts.

When I got there I saw no one there so I sat on the bench and started eating my lunch.

"Hey guys." I said and they all greeted me back.

"Where's Minho?" Sakura asked.

"I don't know, I thought he was with you."

"No, I thought he was with you."

"That's weird, but he'll show up eventually."

"So can Kkura and I get ready at you place for the dance?" Yena asked.

"Sure."

After a while of chatting and eating the bell rang indicating it's time to go back to class.

I was a little worried about Minho because he didn't show up to lunch, but I'll ask him after school.

I saw Minho and ran up to him.

"Hey why didn't you come to lunch?"

"Oh I decided to eat alone on the roof." he said and that only meant one thing. Something was bothering him.

"So I know something's bothering you." I said.

"It's nothing important..." he said and I knew he was lying.

"Come on, I've known you for over ten years, I know something is bothering you."

"I swear, I'm fine!" he said.

"Well you don't have to tell me what it is, but I'll cheer you up somehow."

"Well you wanna get ice cream?" I asked as an attempt to cheer him up.

"Sure..." but he still sounded sad.

We got to the ice cream parlor and got our usual flavors.

We sat down at a table and waited for our ice cream.

"So... are you gonna get Sakura a gift when you ask her to be your girlfriend?" I asked.

"I never thought about it, but I guess I could."

The ice cream arrived and we started eating.

An elderly couple sitting close to us started a conversation.

"You guys are a lovely couple and remind me of my husband and I when we were younger." the elderly woman said.

"Oh no, you must be mistaken we're not a couple, we're just best friends." I explained.

"Yeah... best friends" Minho said.

"Oh well you would make a wonderful couple, but you just reminded us of when we were young and in love." the husband said and I smiled.

"Well I'm happy to make anyone happy." I said and they said goodbye.

"That was weird, I mean us, a couple?" I said and started laughing.

"Hehe uh yea..." he said.

"Well, we should walk home now, some of my aunts and uncles are coming over for dinner." I said and we left.
