"You're bold."

(Bella Clark's POV)

Well, here we are. Sitting on the Hogwarts express. Finally. Today will be my first day at Hogwarts. I am so nervous. Apparently from what everyone else said, it's really different from Beauxbatons.

I sit alone on the train. I'm way to shy to go sit with anyone this soon. I look out the window. We are passing a beautiful row of snowy mountains. I put my hand on my neck for comfort, as I continue looking at the views.

I feel my eyes get heavy. I slowly let the exhaustion take over; and I fall into a light, relaxed sleep.

My eyes burst open aggressively when the train comes to a halt. I inhale sharply as I try to sit up. That was not a good sleeping position. I raise my arms up to my head, and stretch them out.

I swallow hard. holy shit. This is actually happening. My anxiety finally kicks in.

I have no friends.

I don't know where I'm going.

I don't know what to expect.

I grab my luggage and exit the train cart. I see that many people have already left. I pass another train cart.

"Hey!" My head turns around. they're probably not even talking to me.

"Yeah You!" A blonde girl says. Shit. What do I do?

"um...hi?" i blurt. Fuck. That sounded so bad. It was way to quiet, and my voice cracked.

"Hey! You're that transfer student right?" she says with confidence.

"um yeah," I reply. Why is she talking to me? Do I look bad? whatever.

"Okay. I knew it," she laughs, "My name is Maddie. Maddie Blight," she holds out her hand for me to shake. I shake it reluctantly.

"My name is Bella. Bella Clark," I giggle. I already start to feel more confident around her. She laughs too.

"Okay, we'll do you wanna walk with me?" she chuckles. It just gets so much easier to talk to her.

"Yes," I let out a sigh of relief, "I'm so nervous," I say.

"Oh, don't be, I'm sure you'll do great," she gives me a reassuring smile; which is just what I need.

We continue walking down the long train, until we reach a exit. We both walk off the train, and in front of me is a beautiful sight. The school looks like a castle. I feel small standing in front of it.

"wow," I breathe.

"I know right? I get literal chills whenever I look at it," Maddie says looking up too.

She turns her head back down to me. Our eyes meet. She has these beautiful blue eyes, that are so deep. I can see flicks of gold throughout them.

"Alright c'mon let me show you the great hall" she says. Then she grabs my hand and tugs me through the crowded halls of Hogwarts. It already feels like home.
