Wednesday is my favorite day of the week. I really don't know why but it's the day I like the most. Well, now I get the feeling that it won't be my favorite day anymore, or any other day of the week.
Walking down the hall to my next class, I looked around for 'you know who'. I managed to avoid him ever since I arrived at school, although I had a few glimpses of him earlier.
I headed to the Science Lab before everyone else and sat at the back -- the best place for the new student. As soon as everyone entered, our teacher began reviewing us with our past lessons. Just when we we're about to start, a student rushed into the classroom and slammed the door behind her, catching her breath as she leaned on it.
"Ahh, miss Carmichael," our teacher gave her a look. She gulped and bowed deeply, apologizing for being late.
Mr. Lesley sighed. "Go take your seat beside..." he looked around for a vacant seat, "...Miss Williams." He pointed at me and the student immediately headed to my table. She sat beside me and pulled out a notebook and a pen.
She was quiet during the discussion, but I could tell that she wasn't the silent type. To me she seemed...spontaneous. She had long, curly, blond hair and she wore glasses that made her bright blue eyes wide and dark.
During our experiment, following the instructions obviously, she spoke to me a few times. She had the sleeves of her sweater folded as she held and poured the chemicals. She was a smiley girl and she looked like the peppy, loud type, and what I mean by that is not like those peppy cheerleaders. She's smart, or maybe I just thought of that because she kinda looks like a nerd. She didn't look like she had any interest in talking to me or the other students, so whatevs.
After class, she followed me. I actually thought that I was beginning to attract nerds so I tried to ditch her, but she walked fast until she had caught up with me.
"My name's Vanessa," she said as she stopped in front of me
"Hey, I'm---" She cut me off.
"I know who you are," she says with a smile. "You're the girl who transferred to Paris three years ago." Well, I'm glad to hear that she remembers me. "You're also one of Matt's past girlfriends." I wish she never remembered.
"Well, um, I need to go. I still have one more class." I need to get away from her.
"Me too. History, right? I'll walk with you." I sighed, but smiled at her. I just hope that after class, I'd get a chance to get away.

"Here you go." Vanessa hands me a can of juice as we sit there on the stairs. I tried to leave, but she always comes back to me. Why?
"So how was Paris?" She asks taking a sip of her coke.
"Beautiful. Romantic. It's the city of love after all," I said opening my can. Then there was silence. She didn't say anything else for like a minute as we both took a sip of our beverages.
"Why did you leave Matt?" Her question was so unexpected that I choked and coughed.
"Wh-what...?" I looked at her, shocked and confused.
"Why would you just leave your boyfriend like that?" She looked curious. Should I tell her?
I sighed and stared down to the ground, "He's not my boyfriend anymore."
"Ohh..." I could sense that she was shocked. "Another victim of his, huh?"
My ears shot up and I looked at her. "What?"
"He's a playboy. My sister was also his past victim. Have you heard about him having a girlfriend who's a senior?" My jaw dropped as I nodded. She was the girl who was rumored that she had gone wild after they broke up. When she found out who his new girlfriend was, she slapped her in the face when they we're lining up in the cafeteria. They ended up having a horrible fight. They were beating up each other literally. She even punched four guys who tried to get in her way. It ended with the principal and two school guards trying to pull her off Matt's new girlfriend. Vanessa's sister never came back to school the next day until the day of their graduation. I also heard that two days after the fight, Matt broke up with his girlfriend so she also went wild, but not as wild as Vanessa's sister.
"Yeah, she went crazy, but she's fine now. Sort of." Vanessa said. We both sat there in silence for a while until she spoke again.
"You're here for revenge, aren't you?" This time she wasn't looking at me. She stared at somewhere else with a serious expression.
"How did you know?"
"As expected," she spoke with an evil smile on her face like she was up to something. Then she looked at me with wide eyes. I was beginning to get scared.
"Wh-why?" I managed to speak, but in a soft voice. I was nervous.
"Want me to help you?" She was smiling. Something's up and I can sense it. I raised an eyebrow and she sighed.
"I want to do revenge for my sister, but I can't do it on my own. She was so messed up after he broke up with her." She stared at me, "Can I please help you instead?" She begged.
"I dunno..." I wasn't sure about it.
"Please, please, please! I'll do anything you say. I'll help you with you're homework. So please...?"
Do my homework, eh? An evil smile played on my lips then I finally gave in.
"Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!" Vanessa gave me a really tight hug.
"T-t-too tight...!" She noticed that I was suffocating so she released me. We continued to laugh and talk until my aunt came to pick me up.
"So how was school?" she asked.
"Oh, you know, the usual," I replied smiling.
"You seem happy," she says, noticing the smile on my face.
"I love Wednesday, remember." And that was true. Plans of our revenge stormed in my mind. I grinned at the thought of them.
He broke my heart, so now I'm gonna break his. It's time for revenge
